I have a feeling I came here some years ago but it's a bit vague.
Anyway 6 of us had dinner here there is a varied menu and they have vegetarian and gluten free food and something for meat eaters,we all had something different from the menu we enjoyed it very much it's an expensive pub but worth the money.
It's a lovely cozy pub they had the coal fire lit and it was lovely and warm.
I would certainly make a return visit to this pub probably in the summer.
Cozy historic pub with gluten-free options and a chef attentive to Coeliac needs.

We popped in on Saturday to see if they do a gluten free Sunday lunch. After a moments thought, Simon said yes and the Sunday lunch he prepared was delicious, will definitely be going back.

An excellent lunch of fish and chips (all gluten free) - absolutely lovely and tasted amazing and as for my husband's Chocolate Brownie for dessert, delicious. We will be back š

We dropped in here totally unplanned on the way back from Everdon Stubbs woods. It was a real hidden gem and we were so impressed.
The staff were really polite and friendly, and couldn't be happier to tweak the menu for my partner who is coeliac and can't have gluten.
We both went for two courses and the food was among the best I've eaten anywhere. Good portions, not cheap, but really delicious and interesting choices.
I'd go here again in a heartbeat.
