Fantastic pub. The staff were incredibly attentive, the food was excellent and the gluten free menu was brilliant - a great range of options and even a Yorkshire pudding.

Fantastic afternoon at Matteos!
Great communication before booking, I am gluten free and nothing was a problem, matteo could adjust the menu to suit me, when we arrived, we were welcomed with a smile, matteo was the only person working that day and there were 10 of us to look after! What an amazing job he did, attentive, attention to detail and the food was absolutely lovely! We will certainly be returning, it is so nice to be able to find a restaurant that takes your intolerances into consideration And still produce absolutely gorgeous food!

Lovely pub that is much bigger than it looks from the outside!
Good sized room and great food and drink on offer. Plus they had a good gluten free offer, just ask and they will let you know what they can do.
You have to pay for your dog to stay too, but 50% of the money goes to a local dog shelter/charity

Always excellent GLUTEN FREE options at this quaint restaurant!! The GLUTEN FREE Fish and Chips are amazing!! The staff are lovely, welcoming and helpful when it comes to food intolerance or Coeliac Disease. Definitely worth a visit whilst in the Yorkshire Dales xx
