I have visited this restaurant many times, each time the food is delicious. There is a variety of vegan foods aswell as gluten free. The vegan dishes are amazing and full of flavour. The restaurant is decorated nicely and they have a rustic sort of vibe going.
The tables have QR codes that allow you to order online to your table if you don't want to speak to anyone, which is great, and the wait for food is never more than 30 minutes.

This is an excellent place. We had afternoon tea here as part of a birthday celebration. I'm coeliac so I required a gluten free version. I've had gluten free afternoon teas before and have found the bread, scones and cake disappointing. Here everything was delicious even the scones. The service was excellent, the atmosphere was good. Can recommend without hesitation, and will definitely return.

A lovely spot for a bite to eat, slightly off the beaten track of the main shopping street but worth seeking out. The cafe has a lovely friendly atmosphere, options to sit indoors and outdoor and the work of local artists being exhibited on the walls is a nice touch. Dog friendly with water bowls available for dog owners. I came for Sunday brunch, the menu is all veggie with vegan and gluten free options available on request. I opted for shakshuka which arrived after less than ten minutes and was delicious, beautifully paired with the olive sourdough. Would definitely return here if I'm in the area again :)

A lovely restaurant, knowledgeable and friendly staff and delicious food. 2 of our group had allergies (coeliac disease, nut and citrus allergy) the staff were clearly knowledgeable about the food and understood our needs, checking if they were not 100% sure. They were prompt with ordering, but left us alone once we'd been served to chat and enjoy our meal. The Bluelight discount is a great treat too! I will definitely be going back.

Top-quality dining experience, and serviceable hotel with friendly and helpful staff. We stayed over night here and used the restaurant for dinner and breakfast.
The restaurant is definitely something to be praised. Excellent, friendly, attentive wait staff, and properly gorgeous food.
If you’re coeliac/gluten-free, I can recommend the gluten-free pizzas, which feel as though they have actual effort invested in them, rather than being provided as a reluctant afterthought.
Our stay in the hotel was fine. The rooms are situated in a renovated mill building, which provides a gorgeous setting with a lot of historical appeal. At 6’4”, I reliably banged my head on every single doorframe in the building, though that’s perhaps more a reflection on my inability to learn than anything else.
The slope in some of the rooms is a little unsettling. I’m aware that this is often the case with older buildings, and there may have been a reason for this in a mill, but after a bottle of wine in the restaurant, I had an interesting time trying to get around the bathroom and bedroom.
Possibly not the case for all the rooms, but the bed in ours was positioned such that it felt as though it was sloping down at the headboard end, which was actually rather uncomfortable.
The staff who checked us in and out were most friendly and professional, however, so a big thanks to them.
Overall, a great dining experience, and a perfectly fine hotel, sloping floors and borderline concussion aside.

We came here for dinner without booking ahead on a beautiful Summer's eve with my disabled Mum. The staff were extremely welcoming and helpful and the food choice and quality was excellent. We particularly appreciated having decent gluten free/ vegetarian options so that the whole group could eat something nice. The overall vibe of the place was really enjoyable and we'll definitely be back. I had the mushroom burgers which were delicious but not quite substantial enough to fill me up - they could be served with a side dish of some sort? Thanks for a lovely evening 🙂

Impressed with the service and the food was good. Nice outdoor seating too.
We turned up after the kitchen had closed around 330pm but they were still serving baguettes 🥖 one of our party has a gluten sensitivity and although there were no options on the menu, the bar staff were able to make an alternative baguette which was above and beyond.
Very happy with the experience, would recommend.
