When you go to a place that claims to be Gluten Free because a member of your party has an illness associated with gluten, you wish to feel assured by the establishment that is serving you that they have the required knowledge and then the skill to put those claims into practice - we ordered a meal for 4 persons after making enquiries with the staff and then on making further enquiries as to their processes, we did not feel assured or validated in our concern for our family member and were just told ‘it’s all fine’ - we ended up giving dinner away to member of the public at the pub across the street. If you claim to be Gluten Free, you need to do better for people that have an actual illness as compared to those who wish to make a lifestyle choice

Second time I’ve been here and the food is pretty good but the service needs attention. Unfortunately we had to ask for everything throughout our visit; menus, to order, water 3 times, the bill and at one point, one empty plate was cleared but the rest were left. No apology on asking for the automatic tip to be taken off even though I respectfully explained why I was asking for it to be deducted. The staff seemed very nice but just not at all attentive. Food was good although gluten free burger bun was just two pieces of small gluten free bread, so not amazing for £16 but that’s the downside of needing gluten free I guess. Sadly I probably won’t return

I don't like Pizza express generally. But this one is exceptionally good. From the food to the staff, from the facility to the desserts, it's just to good to be a pizza express. I've seen in full, I've seen empty. But the quality of service of foods all the same. For Celiac people, they have options which you never think you can find in a pizza restaurant. Staff is nice and cheerful. Keep it like that. Feels very local and friendly.

Six of us went for a pub lunch and it was good. They have some small plate specials and I thought the tacos were only one per order so I ordered three and ended up with 6! All but one of the orders came through correctly. There was a lactose intolerant and a gluten free eater. The gluten free ordered a burger in a lettuce wrap but the cook put it in a tortilla. He just removed it.
