Nice & very casual place, friendly staff with a gluten-free menu. Still be specific! I ordered yellowtail ceviche with lettuce cups, it was great! We'll return when in the area.
Probably an isolated case but still putting it out there for the gluten intolerant, allergic, or with celiac’s disease: they do not have an allergies menu or their menu marked GF or other allergens. Last night, my bf asked the waitress for gluten free safe dishes and she recommended the Tuscan Chicken from the skinny menu. It was delicious, but my bf spend the whole night and the whole of today puking his guts out. He looked up the ingredients, and that dish is made with farro rice which is a type of wheat. Obviously not the waitress fault, but then the manager today was trying to argue with my boyfriend that farro doesn’t have gluten. Then why is he puking even what is not in his stomach? Not returning even if is the last place open in Marin.
Best street tacos and burritos in Marin! Beautiful decor, delicious food all made fresh same day, had both gluten and vegan free options (thx for those of us who are gluten intolerant), and the owners are just so damn nice! I ran out of rice and they just brought me more on the house! Portions are big so come hungry or bring a friend.
Sometimes there’s a line, it’s worth the wait or go during lunch when they’re not so busy.
LOVE roam burger! So happy one opened in Marin so I don’t have to go to SF! Obsessed with their fried chicken sandwich and fries 😍 obviously both GF! And they have GF buns for the sandwich and the burger!
Also the spring menu has a lemon meringue pie shake and it’s GF too, it’s all so so good!
