Our first time trying any Mod Pizza and the description "like Chipotle but pizza" is very accurate. To buy the dough only and then can add as much of any of the toppings you want is a strange idea in our culture, but there also has to be a tax loophole they get for that...since they don't technically sell the toppings, just the dough. So they make more dough! (Dad joke 🥴) It's the same if you get the salad...you pay for the bed of greens ($10ish for greens! ha 🥴🤪)
For $40-something, our family of 4 got to Mod Pizzas & 1 Family salad 🥗😋 We were all satisfied. Many gluten free options for that crowd, also.
Comfortable atmosphere, pretty friendly staff but nothing amazing. Since it was our first time there, we specified it was our first time but felt rushed to choose instead of being explained the process. So while we were happy with the end product, that first interaction set an impression of the entire interaction. Just thankful they didn't actually rush us or be rude...just didn't offer much help.
This spot offers a welcoming atmosphere with attentive service, thoughtfully catering to diverse dietary needs. Its gluten-free options ensure everyone can enjoy the soulful flavors in a comfortable, inclusive setting.

I’m a big fan of low key spaces that dial it in. Chef Chew as well known as he is, is highly underrated.
What he does with tofu is humbly masterful. While other places will rely on fake meats,he transforms a slab of tofu into a layers and pockets of flavor that get turned into one of the best vegan fried chickuns in the area and a vegan philly protein that is natural gluten free bc it’s basically just tofu and spices.
The collards melt in your mouth but somehow don’t taste overcooked. And I think he changed his cheese sauce slightly bc it tastes even better since his reopening. Offering a vegan fried chickun and steak that isn’t made of processed ingredients is a subtle triumph that I don’t feel gets enough recognition. Vegan soul food done right. Much respect.
This spot buzzes with a celebratory energy amid a clean, almost sterile atmosphere, offering a small patio for outdoor seating. Its attention to detail and fresh environment create a welcoming space ideal for those seeking a gluten-free friendly dining experience.
