Gluten-free Pizza, the best I have ever had! Super friendly service, very adaptable to our needs (GF, dairy free, no tomatoes).

I loved this place so much to the degree I wish it was our local spot back home. The food, atmosphere, and service were all top notch. Everything coming out of the kitchen looked incredible. They even had a dedicated gluten free pizza oven for my fiancé who is Celiac. We can’t wait to come back in our next adventure down to Florida!

Our waiter Aaron was very polite and helpful. Chef Floyd came out to visit us personally twice during dinner and was super friendly. He is very talented! After a couple years of having a house in the keys, this red tail snapper platter is my favorite meal of anywhere! I have a gluten and dairy allergy, and I can safely eat it baked. The spices are delicious! The view is great too. And they have live music! If you are a resident, you can join the Turtle Club for $25 and you get 15% off every visit plus 20 or 25% on Thursdays. It’s also dog friendly. We highly recommend! -Lauren and Andy.

My husband and I came because of the reviews about the vegan food and gluten free options…first I expected that the waitress that works there since they have these options, would actually understand the difference between gluten free and vegan…well she didn’t and had to run to the kitchen to ask after I insisted that the fact the salad was listed on the vegan menu didn’t mean it is gluten free especially that it had noodles listed in it. On the regular menu GF options were marked and on the vegan menu there were no markings for GF…my husband ordered the black bean burger and took two bites and didn’t like it because he said it was bitter… it came with fries so he ate the fries and didn’t find anything else to substitute it with… the burger came in a hoagie bun which is quite large…he took 2 bites and the manager said that he can’t remove it from the bill because he ate 1/2 of the sandwich!!! Horrible service! Not coming again even if they pay me!

We were in town in May, for a wedding and wanted to go to lunch close to our hotel. So, we decided to go to Skipper’s Dockside. Plus, it was a quick walk from our hotel. Wow, it was so much fun! What a great place to eat with a relaxed atmosphere! Or you can sit on the deck and watch boats go by in the marina. While you listen to live entertainment! All the staff were friendly and went out of their way to handle my celiac and soy allergy. I was able to speak to Chef Michael Ashley who made my meal. So, for lunch, my husband and I both got the Blackened Mahi sandwich. But they substituted the bread for quinoa and vegetables. The dish was delicious! Can I tell you we came back the next night? Yes, we had to try the Frozen Rum Runners. And I cannot forget the best chocolate martinis. We got a great meal, excellent service at a reasonable price. If you are looking for a place to chill and relax, go to Skipper’s! We will be back!
