Waitress was knowledgeable, explained anything on the menu could be made gluten friendly anything fried is done separately for safety. Anything on menu can be prepared GF.
Can't trust them for food allergies. My wife ordered a meal and specifically said gluten free. I had asked for a gluten free menu when we were seated. I ordered "same". They served me the gluten free version and her one with regular bread. The server even blamed her for not saying she needed gluten free. I know mistakes happen but this was very upsetting as she has a strong reaction to gluten. The saddest part is the food was delicious.
Will start by saying my experience is with ordering online and take-out. Ordering was quick and easy. I ordered a gluten free pizza (as a celiac) and can say this was one tasty gluten free pizza. I also did not get any reaction which is the cherry on top. The price was fine for me it was about 18 bucks (charge of $4 to sub the dough) but thatβs the gluten free life. Would order again and again. For reference I got the not just a roni pizza. The staff was also very nice.
I have Celiac disease and Amanda (at the Plymouth MA) knew about gluten and that they have a separate fryer for French fries!
She understood I have other food allergies too and they could accommodate that too. Best vegan burger and fries π in a lettuce wrap ever!!! Will definitely be going back soon. π₯°
Good service. Good size and price for drinks
Very reasonable prices. Diverse menu from tacos to steak tips to chicken sandwiches to hamburgers and pizza. Plenty of gluten-free options.
First time eating here and I will be back. The food is great. All the flavors work well together. And they have well marked gluten free options and can make many other things gluten free. Also many vegetarian and vegan options. They are careful about food allergies.
Perfect place for a day out in Plymouth. Classic OG pub atmosphere with many amazing gluten free options on the menu. I had the little neck clams and a classic wedge salad, and they were both fresh, well prepared, and oh so tasty! Everyone in our party loved their food!
I used to say my top two BBQ joints were out of state and weβd never get anything like that here. Tonight I added a third and was proven wrong and Iβve never been happier!!! My husband and I raced down to Plymouth after work in hopes of scoring some smoked treats. I have to mention I have celiac disease and itβs very hard to find an establishment caring enough to ensure I donβt get sick, everyone went above and beyond! My hubby and I had the two meat combo, brisket, ribs, potato salad, beans, collard greens, as well as Mac and cheese (for the hubby of course). The first thing I have to note, the flavor, my god I havenβt tasted a smoke that deep and decadent, and bark that crisp and full of flavor since my last trip to Tomball,TX well over 15 years ago. In our house we say a quiet dinner with a bit of upper body wiggle dancing in between bites is the sign of a solid meal! The sides were heavenly, I havenβt had good collards in a very long time, it brought back some great memories! Thank you guys for an absolutely amazing meal, experience and even more so, the genuine hospitality. We are so incredibly lucky to have you in our neck of the woods! Also odd thing to point out, but the sturdy napkins were an insanely nice touch that didnβt go unnoticed by this girl who only eats brisket with her hands!

Gluten free options! So many drink options, food options. Wicked clean bathrooms. We didnβt check out the speak easy but the game area and the bar/restaurant out front was great! Short rib poutine was perfectly split between 3 people and was amazing. Would go here once a week if it was closer to my house. Staff is great, just GREAT!
A little pricey, especially adult beverage wise. However, this has been the "spot" my sister and I will choose to go to. Unfortunately not super allergy friendly. There is gluten free crust available for pizza, which was delicious.
A great dinner - my better half requires a gluten free menu. They had a cabernet from Chateau Soverain by the glass. My wife's gluten free pasta was very good. I had a rib eye that was the special of the night and was remarkably good considering its not a specialty steak place. Rounded out dinner with bannana, chocolate chip bread pudding with an awesome creme anglaise. Overall great meal.
The restaurant is so bright and cozy. They make their own bread, and even have a gluten-free option. The food is uncomplicated, fresh and delicious. I love the spiral stairs leading to the shop carrying natural and handmade goods. This will be a new spot to visit every time I go to Plymouth.
We just finished an EXCELLENT lunch at The Crab. The cauliflower pizza for our gluten intolerant grandson was a huge hit. We all tasted tested it. Yummy. All of our meals were huge, perfect temperature and very tasty and fresh. We highly recommend The Blue Eyed Crab.
An Unexpected, Delicious Thanksgiving
We took a spontaneous drive to Plymouth, Thanksgiving Day: It took several phone calls to find a place open AND not booked.
But Proof 22 served an excellent Thanksgiving meal, even allowing for creative substitutions for my being gluten-free.
The pumpkin pie for dessert, was the chef's family recipe, made with fresh pumpkin (not can): Definitely more than we were expecting from a bar.
Excellent service, as well. Thank you π
Lovely experience here. Our waitress was really friendly. They even double-checked with the kitchen to see if we had a gluten-free option on the fries. We ordered a cesar salad, with a gluten-free house burger and a side of tater tots. The food was delicious and filling but at the same time didn't nake us feel heavy. Great experience!
