Amazing food (upscale diner style). I enjoyed a salad bowl option (the Bridgman Bowl) and loved it. I have also ordered the Wild Rice Burger (separate visit) and thought it was delicious. I loved that there were options for the health-conscious person amidst company that love the burgers and fries. Coming from out-of-town, healthier options are important. Though I don't need gluten-free options, gluten-free buns were offered as an option.

I want to start by saying that I have not yet ever left a negative review, so this will be my first. Girlfriend and I decided to swing by and grab a burger and some frozen custard. She has a gluten allergy and so finding a fast food burger that's safe is usually a challenge. Culver's to the rescue! She has eaten there previously and everything goes well. She orders a smokehouse burger, gluten free. The order taker confirms that the burger can be had gluten free and then clarifies twice that it is an allergy and not a preference. I order a single with ketchup, mustard, Swiss cheese, pickles and fried onions. We pull up to the window and the worker again confirms that the smokehouse was ordered gluten free and due to an allergy. We get our concrete mixers and pull up. When our food is delivered, she checks the bag, bun was separated and my order was in a completely separate bag. So far, so good! I was actually pretty impressed by the attention to detail. We drive away. As she goes to assemble the burger, what does she find....glutinous onion rings. We debate going back but our wait was pretty long, so long in fact that the car behind us bailed. Everyone makes mistakes, however, when food allergies are involved those mistakes could be disastrous, possibly even lethal. So, we go home and I have a burger for lunch tomorrow...then I open mine. Cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomato and raw onions. Making a mistake on one order is one thing but screwing up both in very epic ways is unacceptable, especially considering how long our wait was and the cost of the food.
