We were really pleasantly surprised at just how nice our experience at The Cellar was. As someone with a gluten sensitivity I was thrilled to see that their chicken and waffles is gluten free. The prices are commensurate with the quality here, and I was glad to see that our entrees were full plates, not a piece of protein garnished with a few specks of vegetable and starch. This was a great way to start our weekend in Corning

What a strange name for a restaurant - but don't let that stop you! the food here was super delicious!!!
I got the Beer Brisket sandwich, which was so tender and flavorful, the everything bun was soft and delicious too!
I did not care for the potato salad though, which I paid $2 extra for - without knowing (they really should tell you) - it was VERY VERY heavy on the vinegar.
My husband got the Gluten Free Buttermilk fried chicken and LOVED every bite of it -- he couldn't believe it was GF!
Unfortunately, because we stopped in for lunch on our drive home to Cleveland, we did not partake in any drinks but they had an extensive bar and a great drink menu!
