I absolutely love Nautical Bowls! Their bowls are not only delicious, but also incredibly nutritious. We have dined at this location once but attempted to dine twice. The first time service was wonderful experienced server asked questions about prep of gluten free items and waitress assured us they cover grills, use different food prep surfaces. After today I would not trust with food allergies again. Our waitress was young, literally forgot after getting us beverages we were her table I had to get up to remind her we hadn’t ordered after 20 minutes. Then we asked her about the burgers and grill surface if he was covered or cleaned for gluten free and she paused like she didn’t have a clue what we were asking then said “no the grill is used for everything we don’t cover it.” We got up and left. If you over vegan and gluten free then please train servers what it is and above all do it right. Contaminating food could kill someone when they have an allergy.

Love love love this place! I've mostly gotten takeout but it is always top notch! Most notably, they have some great gluten free options. Most sandwiches can be made gluten free. On the totally other end of the spectrum the mac and cheese is one of my favorites in the whole city (not gf). I usually get the BBQ Brisket Mac and cheese. But you can choose whatever toppings or plain. Can't go wrong. Also note worthy would be the sweet potato fries. They are always so fresh. We love them
