We have been enjoying Chefs Hat for many years on all of our trips to Door County! On our most recent trip, this past weekend, we were surprised to find out that they offer breakfast! This place is pure culinary excellence! They take healthy food and make it so delicious, you walk away feeling like you ate something truly decadent but also ready for a long hike, because no stomach bloat…ha! Their fruit smoothies are a true treat and they have amazing gluten free options for those that need it! I have to say, my teenagers who don’t require gluten free definitely wanted my gluten free muffin that came with my meal! YUM!!

This a really cool little place. The staff is super friendly and helpful and food is good. My wife had the potato waffle with creme fraiche (gluten-free, add smoked salmon) and I had the eggs benedict. Both were good. There's also a little area with chairs if you just want to read and have some coffee.

If I could give 20 stars I would! I have celiacs disease. This restaurant was extremely knowledgeable and went out of their way to make sure I was accommodated! Even offering cherry sorbet in place of cherry pie for dessert! Our server Deanna was probably one of the best servers I’ve had in a restaurant! The old post office is one of our favorite places to eat when we come to Door County! I can not recommend them enough! You will not regret this decision!!

I'm splitting this into 2 parts, the food and the service. TLDR; Go for the food and ignore the service. FOOD: amazing, point blank. These are some of the best breakfast burritos you'll ever have. Sure ordering online and cash only is a little meh but the burritos have made up for it. But then we have the service... SERVICE: I don't get it. Today it felt like being there was an inconvenience to them. I asked if they had any gluten free wraps and got told they had "gluten free card board bowls". I still don't know if it was a joke or saying you could do an egg bowl instead of a wrap. ADVICE: You've got one of the best products I've tasted. Be nice to people. Act like you want them there. I sincerely hope for the best for good eggs and I'll be coming back to try again hoping for that magical burrito and a smile. OTHER: I would have called ahead to check first but the phone number listed on Google was disconnected.

Love Love Love the cabbage roll and Hunters stew. Both items are Gluten free. The menu has a few GF items, all are amazing. The staff is amazing and very helpful. The food can be shared.
