Excellent gluten-free pastries of all types. They manage to make crumbly dough like few others, it's the discovery that made me digest life as a celiac the most. Elegant, precious place, but with normal prices for the quality.

Fantastic! They have a gluten free bread option and the guy washed his hands once I requested GF. Super friendly. Great options for toppings. Worth the wait in line.

This is food so spectacular it makes you wonder why you’ve ever eaten anything else in your life. When I took my first bite I loudly said, “This is the best food I’ve ever eaten.” We love to try new foods when we travel, so that’s not for nothing! My partner had the Milano (a bit heartier with delicious risotto inside) and I had the Siena (the honey and walnuts added so much dimension). If you’re gluten free, they have bread for you! We went to the market for a late dinner, specifically seeking out this shop based on numerous recommendations. Andrea was incredibly friendly and took extra time to talk with us, even though our Italian is not the best. He was so wonderful and kind, I wish I could listen to him discuss cooking for hours! I walked away feeling inspired to be more creative with my own cooking and we already have plans to go back for more! If you only eat at one place in Florence, come to La Schiacciata Firenze.
