Our last visit to this restaurant was like the first-the food is fresh and delicious. The service is first rate.A big attraction for us is the gluten free menu and the calamari was delicious with a really great sauce. The lasagna was equally good, as always. And the seafood special was full of surprises and very very tasty. The bread is always marvelous. The soup is heavenly-seasoned just right and most excellent.
Our server TJ was helpful and explained the dinner options and had great wine recommendations. It is the kind of superb service we are used to.

I have celiac, and after a long day of travel and walking, the last thing I wanted to do was worry about an allergic reaction to food. Iād heard about the gluten free bread from a friend and decided to try it. When I spoke with the employee, he was very kind about telling me the procedures in place to help with the cross-contamination of gluten. I was told there was no way to guarantee a gluten-free experience, which is very expected from a sub location. I decided to get the sandwich anyway and did not have any sort of reaction at all. The sandwich was delicious, the gluten-free bread itself was better than any I had ever had, and I will definitely return to firehouse subs locally. The staff was incredibly understanding and friendly, packaging my sub separately from the other sandwiches in our order and bringing them to our table.
I would love to come back to Firehouse Subs in the future, especially with such an educated and understanding staff. Thank you so much to the staff working here :)
