We went here 4 times in the 3 days we stayed near by and each time was wonderful. Favorite items we tried were chocolate cream cake, sugar thing filled with cream, Spinach empanadas, and all the sandwiches with ham and cheese were amazing. The bread didn’t taste gluten free it was so soft and flavorful
This place is an absolute must! I am ceoliac and these Are the best pancakes I have had since I can remember. The burata sandwich was also amazing😍 My friend (not gluten free) also loved, loved, loved, the food. I will definitely come back and recomend this place! The staff Are also very nice and effective. The vibe is relaxed and comfortable. 100% recomend!
This is a great spot in La Eixample! We were drawn in by the charming decor and proximity to our hotel, but the food was so good and the service so friendly we’ve returned multiple times over multiple visits to Barcelona. They have options for omnivores, vegetarians, and vegans, as well as labeling for allergens like gluten. The staff happily converse in English or Spanish (probably other languages as well) and they’re very warm and friendly. Highly recommend!

I am celiac and I asked if I could eat the sandwich I brought from home (obviously I would have consumed a drink and coffee), they told me no, that they had a gluten-free option, but when asked if the options they had were packaged, they answered no, I told them that there is a risk of cross-contamination and they continued to refuse.
Little empathy.
Oh, and speaking Catalan is not a big deal.
As a celiac, I am very sorry for what happened on this site. In their other ice cream shop they have cones with gluten and they make pastry things, but until now, this bakery was 100% gluten-free. Now they have decided to bring a brioche with gluten, thus bringing contamination to the premises. It is a huge disgrace, the ice creams are excellent and the service is good. I hope they fix it.
A very pleasent dinner, good ham, cheese, paella and burgers; with dishes ad hoc for gluten free options. The service was polite and carefull, I really loved the guy. A suggestion for the outside, put some flowers in the flower-pots and table centrepieces.
I want to comment on an incident that I consider very serious. I just placed an order for home, and apart from missing a burger (that's okay), I had ordered two gluten-free ones and they were not differentiated from the ones with gluten. We ordered McDonald's because, supposedly, they are one of the companies that best controls the gluten issue. Taking into account that we are talking about the health of a child, I see this as a very very serious failure. I want it to be on record because I consider that this issue is very serious and I have lost the confidence that I had every time I went to a McDonald's restaurant regarding that issue. I repeat, I consider it a huge failure. Thank you
Hello, we went as a family today, and Mrs. Yajaira attended to us, very kind!
The food was very delicious... the gluten-free one I ate was also very delicious, I only note that they could have more variety in the sauces for the gluten-free pasta.
Many thanks for everything
A beautifully decorated restaurant with a great ambiance – you immediately feel at home here. The staff was consistently friendly and attentive. The wide selection of dishes for people with allergies or intolerances is particularly noteworthy.
The interactive menu is a real highlight: You can easily filter by allergens such as gluten, lactose, nuts, and more – super practical and rarely found in this format. There are also many delicious options for vegetarian and vegan guests.
Overall, a thoroughly enjoyable visit. I'd love to come back!
It's one of our favorite burger places! My partner and I went, and I'm gluten intolerant. It's really cool that they have gluten-free bread options and it's included in the price. The nachos are insane, and the desserts are so good they'll melt your mouth. 😍

Expensive, but well stocked. Kindness and professionalism. It is not easy to find pastry shops, chocolate shops, bars and restaurants with gluten-free products in Barcelona

Unwelcoming staff, not a smile in sight. Also some waitresses were sneezing into their hands and some repeatedly fidgeted with their snivelling nose, which gave a bad hygenic vibe :/
Below average Italian food. Gluten free option is disappointing. Ordered gluten free pumpkin ravioli, got gluten free fussili instead. Apparently they just substitute whatever pasta you order with fussili, but don't tell you in advance. Price the same as for pumpkin filled ravioli. Not cool.
Excellent restaurant!! We went to a family celebration and both the food and the service were impeccable. Everything was delicious, they took great care of us and adapted the menu even for celiacs with alternatives that were just as good as the rest. An unforgettable experience. The culinary level is very high and the products of the highest quality.
Daniela's attention was more than excellent, with patience, affection and professionalism she accompanied us in everything we needed. We don't put more stars because there aren't any more!!
Thanks for everything.

SUPER YOX
El Nacional Barcelona impresses from the first moment with its modernist setting and elegant atmosphere, ideal for those looking to enjoy a unique dining experience in the city center. I really liked the variety of options: you can choose from four restaurants (steak, fish, tapas, and delicatessen) and several bars specializing in wine, beer, oysters, and cocktails, all under one roof. The space is spacious and bright, with architectural details that make it unique, and is perfect for both group meals and a special occasion. The menu is varied, featuring Spanish and Catalan dishes, and there are vegetarian and gluten-free options.
As an area for improvement, being such a popular and central location, it tends to be quite busy, and during peak hours there can be a wait to be seated. Some dishes can be somewhat expensive for the quantity or quality offered, and the service, while good, sometimes suffers due to the number of customers. Even so, if you're looking for an iconic spot where you can try different culinary offerings in a spectacular setting, El Nacional is a highly recommended option for a unique experience in Barcelona.

The place is very cozy, perhaps in some areas it could use a little more lighting. The brutal food!! everything super good!! They adapt some dishes (mostly) gluten-free.
The only thing was the service was a little slow but friendly and polite.
