Very limited GF options on my visit. A couple of bacon and egg options for sit down meal but none for takeaway. Although great coffee next door at Milkro Coffee Roasters.
My partner and I were very happy with our burgers! I had the fried cauliflower burger with a gluten free bun, soo good! One of the best gf buns I’ve had 😁 and crispy cauliflower was delicious! Fries also well seasoned and crispy
Best chips, burgers and milkshake in town! Fab little surfey vibe place to dine in as well if you’re after that. Bonus points for creative flavour combos & gluten free chips!
Only extra wishes would be:
1). That the chip portions were bigger! (We always have to get 3x chips for two people).
2). That you’d have lactose-free (or milk alternatives)
Otherwise, an awesome place all around! :)
Came for breakfast and the food and service was good. A mistake was made with 1 of the Meals not being made Gluten free. They apologised offered a free drink and rectified it asap. We declined the free drink as we didn’t need it and within 5-10 minutes the correct meal was brought out.

Our mouths were watering as we travelled down from Bendigo, in anticipation of our first meal at Torquay. There aught to be a better word than delicious just for Dough Bros Pizza. Stacked full with delicious toppings on a lovely base, we highly recommend "The Lot", and gluten free is sooo good. The base is great and most importantly I have no problems later. They have great Deals and the staff are very helpful and friendly. Thank you Dough Bros, see you next year.
We visited from out of town and had a craving for fish and chips. We were so happy to find a shop that offers gluten free. We had the flake, prawns, calamari and chips and they were all delicious.
So good we are travelling back that way just so we can call in again. We also had great service from the staff. No photos as it was eaten too quickly 😉
Best meal we had in Torquay. Staff were friendly and the food delicious - fresh and full of flavour. Yummy gluten-free options. Highly recommend for a cosy, satisfying lunch out.
Celebrated our wedding anniversary here and felt like it really was the best place we decided to dine at as we were made to feel special. Also received a little congrats card. From the moment our lovely waitresses attended to us to when we left, we were looked after. As i am coeliac, i could not eat the complimentary bread so our waitress was so kind and offered me olives instead, which was nice and felt accomodated. Nothing was too much trouble and when i needed my steak cooked bit more because i chose the wrong option, they were so nice and made me feel like it was no trouble at all. Everyone was real nice, the steak was so delicious and the wait time for food was perfect and not delayed at all. I had a mocktail martini espresso which was so yum! Lastly the dessert was to die for! we had the velvety chocolate and i highly recommend sharing as its perfect for two people and so delicious. As a coeliac, i had so many options and was excited to have a few choices of dessert to choose from! this place in torquay is a must visit!
We shared an excellent gluten free pizza (really great home made gluten free base) and delicious gluten free calamari fritti. Thank you for being accommodating with dietary requirements. Service was good and food came out quickly. We loved eating here and will be back!

Visiting from the UK, England. Fancied a English type breakfast and this place did not disappoint! Ordered the Sandbah big breakfast and it was amazing! Top top breakfast!! Best I’ve had in Australia so far on our trip. I mean just look at it it’s a thing of beauty!! Mrs had the gluten free option toastie which was also very good!
The food was great, flavoursome and great Gluten Free options, the staff were lovely and really attentive. Margaritas were delicious and ginger beer was perfect and yummy, not to sweet and had just right amount of spicy ginger wang.
My wife is gluten free. She had a g/f chicken salad which she reckon was the best ever plus a cheese cake. I had a burger daughter had a slider/chips grandson slider/chips and nuggets/chips. All with drinks. Food and service great.
Popped in for a coffee today. Cheery quick service. Great vibe inside with comfy chairs and couches. Somewhat hidden by the darkened glass on the exterior , this place is a surprise with a great range of healthy choices including Gluten free and Vegan. I wish there was more outdoor seating for my dogs.
We love Thai@Dunes Friday lunch is a favourite. Love the curries,stir fries and Pad Thai Often get take away as well.
Service is great and we are always made to feel welcome.
My husband requires Gluten Free and he is always looked after. Only $3 extra and his meal is cooked separately.

I have a gluten allergy and the staff was very well educated on Celiac disease. They were able to tell me what ice cream may be cross contaminated and which ones definitely have not. They also made sure to sanitize the scoops before using for someone with celiac without me asking. Plus they have a delicious gluten free waffle cone! Overall great experience!!
Incredible Indian restaurant with extensive menu catering to all dietary requirements (listed vegan, veg, nuts and gluten) I had the veg jalfrezi which is actually vegan. They’re able to cater to your preferred spice... I assure the hot is hot!

Food and service are exceptionally good. I had the continental deli sandwich and my partner had the calabrese salad. Due to my mix up I forgot to specify the salad needed to be gluten free and the staff rectified it in minutes. The shop next door had fantastic food as well, and looked a great place to sit. We had our dog with us, but there were a number of spots to sit outside. Will be back.
I visited Cafe El Nido last Saturday and had an amazing experience whilst out with my friends for brunch! The customer service is 10/10, such lovely and friendly staff to be served by. The food was amazing, with plenty of variety on the menu including many different gluten free, vegan & vegetarian options, which is so great to see in a café. Great coffee and drink options too! To the lovely young girl with dark hair who put through my order, you are very kind and friendly, and did an amazing job of helping me understand some of the dishes and the heritage surrounding them. Thank you to everyone at El Nido for your lovely service and meals! Would highly recommend this place to anyone local, or stopping by Torquay.
The best ever changing menu you’ll find! Amazing food and service, if you’re gluten free, look no further it has the best gluten free pasta ever! I couldn’t recommend a better place to have dinner whilst in Torquay!!
