Dropped in off the street. Am coeliac but they had gf on menu and appeared to know gf. So pleased as food was devine, excellent service ...we will be back.
Toast Cafe in East Perth is generally a pretty good experience, and it's a spot we've visited a fair bit. While the last few times we went the quality of ingredients hadn't been as fresh as usual – we even copped some mouldy gluten-free bread on one occasion, which wasn't ideal – this most recent visit was definitely better. They do a decent coffee, and the service is usually alright. Hopefully, they're back on track with the fresh ingredients, because when they're on, they're on!
Excellent food, good service and nice atmosphere.
Had a large family booking and got a private dining area overlooking the park.
Pizzas were fantastic, particularly the crust, which was a perfection of crispiness and flavour. I ordered the Bomba but also tried a slice of the Diavola and the Salsiccia e Friarielli and all 3 were great in their own way (Diavola was actually chilli hot which I wasn't expecting - loved the heat!).
The pastas were all good and the gluten free pasta my niece ordered was apparently superb (not just by gluten free standards but by normal pasta standards). The gnocchi was soft, pillowy and delicious. My son loved his lasagne also.
The desserts were delicious, I enjoyed the affogato a lot and my wife's tiramisu was also good.
Waitress was attentive and made no mistakes the entire night - very good.
I recommend this place and I am keen to return one day.
Stopped by this beautiful little restaurant and was pleasantly surprised by the friendly and efficient service, wonderful menu, delishish meals. The duck was a flavour sensation. Ambiance was delightful. Alfresco under lights next to the water with great music!!!
Nice selection of gluten free.
Highly recommended.
I went this Saturday. The place is quiet and the staff is very friendly.
The menu has gluten free options. I had a Pad Thai for, I really liked it.
Thank you! We’ll be back 😊
