Very patient with our family having two toddlers and kind service and staff. Great breakfast option! Really appreciated the gluten free options as well and catering to dietary needs.
The most delicious food in all of Budapest. We went several times during our stay. They have gluten-free options, the portions are generous, and the desserts are delicious. They have gluten-free options in almost all of their dishes; more than 90% of the menu can be gluten-free.
So delicious! Fantastic flavors and creative options. A ton of vegan gluten free options and I am told the meat was flavorful and delicious as well. The staff were incredibly attentive and kind. I would definitely return. I recommend the trumpet mushrooms on polenta, a real treat!

I heard about this ice cream place by a friend. Stopped by to check out whether they have plant-based flavours. The branch I visited (nearby nyugati station) was small with limited seating indoors and outdoors.
There were a couple of vegan flavours available at this branch, but mostly fruit sorbet based. I asked whether they can do a “half half 1 scoop", which they said no. I went with the chocolate with lavender. The chocolate with lavender was thick and rich. And very good!
Each gelato flavour marks whether it is gluten-free (glutenmentes), vegan and/or dairy-free (tejmentes) in Hungarian.
The service was just ok.
Everything was delicious. The food arrived faster than we expected, and we really enjoyed it.
Evelin is a wonderful waitress.
We would love more gluten-free options!
We have been served by the amazing Benjamin !!! Such a jovial person with great service. Also the place was great too , with gluten free options for us with celiac disease.. again thank you Benjamin for your services and your cheerful vibe.
We arrived as a family, there were options for everyone
My husband had vegetarian and gluten-free dishes
The kids had gluten-free dishes and you can add and subtract from the dishes what you want
Very tasty and comforting dishes
Excellent and courteous service
Not expensive, good value for money
I returned after 7 years to the place and it only gets better
The landlady is very nice and the services
Highly recommend
I definitely recommend it for a delicious coffee and cookie combo during the day. The cake was gluten- and lactose-free, and they know the subtle differences even in connection with the less frequently ordered coffees...
Service is polite, helpful and shows endless patience.
We sat in front of the arched shop window on the street and had a great time. Fine
We were lucky, but advance booking is normally required. Otherwise, traditional Hungarian cuisine, well seasoned. Goulash soup with and without noodles, so also gluten-free. Willing service. The couvert is included in the price, at the end they bring an apple shot
Great place, the food is delicious, the service is friendly and even as a gluten-sensitive person I can live very well. If you go there, try their mango margarita, it's unbeatable. The decor and the environment are extremely authentic. I'm a repeat guest!
We had a delicious lunch (the pizzas are amazing) and various desserts (the panna cotta is highly recommended).
They also have a good gluten-free menu, and the gluten-free pizza was equally delicious.
The service is friendly and offers good advice.
You can also buy delicatessen items inside; it's definitely worth a visit.
Very good food with a gluten free option, one of the waiters has an intolerance and knows the menu very well :). They have been fast and very friendly at all times
5+ Stars – Outstanding Experience!
From start to finish, the service at HILDA was exceptional – incredibly professional, attentive, and genuinely warm. The staff went out of their way to accommodate dietary needs, offering almost everything in a gluten-free version without any compromise in quality or taste.
We were even surprised with a complimentary amuse-bouche, thoughtfully served gluten-free, and later received a delicious dessert on the house. Every dish was bursting with flavor – beautifully presented and absolutely delicious.
Highly recommended for anyone looking for an elevated dining experience in Budapest. We’ll definitely be back!
Very good espresso and cappuccino. Incredible gluten free selection. Service is a bit slow and not too friendly but we got through it. Definitely worth the effort even if it is a bit touristy!
If you’re in Budapest and looking for a stylish yet welcoming spot, Honey: Brunch, Coffee, Bar is a must-visit! Nestled in a charming part of the city, this place seamlessly combines the best of brunch, quality coffee, and vibrant bar vibes.
The brunch menu is a highlight. Whether you’re in the mood for classic eggs Benedict, fluffy pancakes, or something more unique like their honey-drizzled specialties, every dish is fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. They also cater to dietary preferences with vegetarian and gluten-free options.
For coffee lovers, this spot is paradise. The coffee selection is expertly crafted, and their honey latte is a standout—perfectly sweetened without overpowering the rich espresso flavor. It’s an ideal place to unwind or enjoy a quiet moment with a book or a laptop.
In the evening, Honey transforms into a lively bar, offering a curated list of cocktails, wines, and craft beers. Their honey-themed cocktails are both creative and delicious, giving a nod to the name and adding a unique touch to the menu.
The atmosphere strikes a perfect balance between trendy and cozy, with friendly staff who make you feel at home. Whether you’re a local or just visiting Budapest, Honey is the perfect spot to enjoy any time of day. I can’t wait to go back!
Just exceptionnal. Cocktails are delightful, service is impecable and enjoyable. Original recipes cooked perfectly. There is even gluten free options like bread, desserts etc.
Gluten-free beer. We had a wonderful dinner. Very friendly waiters. Daniel the best of the bar, very attentive. We were in Budapest for five days and I would return to this place a hundred times.
To flee!
The first waiter informs us that it is possible to serve a gluten-free tartare (I am celiac)... so we order our aperitifs (2 beers and 1 sparkling water).
By the way, they serve pints without asking our opinion... a beer of 25 would have been enough for us!!
The 2nd waitress tells us that it's not possible to order gluten-free... so we're stuck with finishing our drinks before going to dinner elsewhere... Not very professional all of that😔
