To begin this review I want to preface that we are "regular" customers and that we have always appreciated the quality of the pizzas. When we do not have the possibility to go there we order their pizza home delivery, also by virtue of the fact that it is the only pizzeria to offer gluten free and deliver in our area.
The penultimate order made had already left us a little perplexed, both for the quality of the product and for the punctuality of the delivery. However, we decided not to contest anything, as having experience in catering we know well that it can happen once in a while in which products and services may not excel, especially on days usually full of work.
Confidently last night we again ordered two pizzas, one with gluten-free dough and one with classic dough (for an amount above β¬ 40 that we are willing to spend for dietary needs, and of which we also know the costs of the raw materials well). The order arrived with a long delay, as in all honesty always happens, but I can understand the reasons. What I understand less is the quality of the products, which apparently has significantly worsened over time:
- the gluten-free pizza was missing one of the ingredients (one we had expressly asked to remove, the other was evidently forgotten/finished); - both pizzas were so full of oil that they seemed fried and very heavy to swallow;
- the dough, probably made last minute and not leavened, I believe was the cause (or contributory cause) of the indigestion, thirst, nausea and abdominal pain that accompanied the night and the following morning;
We are deeply sorry to write this review, which we are absolutely not used to doing especially for places like this that we have appreciated. We hope this place can recover in quality.

I have been to 7+ several times and each time I have never been disappointed. Yesterday I returned with different needs, as I discovered I am gluten intolerant. I was speechless in front of a visibly wonderful and exceptionally tasty pizza. Unlike other places, here the gluten-free pizza is worthy of being called such.
Firstly, everything on the menu is available without gluten which is why we chose the place. The gluten free was very good and the burger bun was fluffy and the burger itself was not too small. My capricciosa was possibly a little soggy and a little stingy with tomato sauce with the ham was unusually good and the base itself was good. The staff spoke better English than in many other places and it was no problem to neither be understood nor understand what the staff said. I would recommend this place if you want to eat quite late (they don't open before 7:45 PM) and can't eat gluten.
Small but pleasant place, a modernization wouldn't hurt anyway, difficult to park because it's 2 steps from the center. The pizza is average, the gluten-free one is good with dough made by them. The service girls are very kind, the prices are average, even though it was a Saturday the service was fast. All in all a good experience especially for those with gluten problems.

I had pinsa, arancini, pasta, apple pie, nutella pie, fries, everything is so, so good.
I went there during day time and during night time and all the staff members were helpful, nice and offered good customer service. Special thanks to Lorena who is very sweet and so helpful!

Friendly staff, excellent food, from savory pizzas, bread, to sweet chatter, biscuits, breakfast food. A place for celiacs to try! Thanks again
We were six people at Scorza Nera and I have to say it was a wonderful discovery! The place is really large and well-kept, with a wonderful summer space, perfect for outdoor evenings. The menu is very rich: many varieties of pizzas and doughs, even gluten-free, truly something for all tastes.
The pizzas arrived almost all at the same time (five out of six), the only small flaw was with the gluten-free pizza which, by mistake, had been served to another table. We had to wait a few more minutes, but the staff was very courteous and attentive.
The real surprise, however, came at the end: without having asked for anything, they brought us two plates of desserts with Nutella and bitters offered by the house. As a Milanese, I was positively impressed: a gesture that is not seen often and that really makes the difference.
What can I say? Excellent food, welcoming environment and a service that knows how to pamper the customer. I will definitely return when I come to Sicily

Everything is very good, from sweet to savory, a point of reference for gluten-free, with a single flaw, the prices, which in some cases are too salty (bread at β¬12 per kg)
Great Gluten Free experience. When I told them that I am celiac, they scooped from the area that wasnβt exposed to the normal cones and they used a separate spoon. The taste is authentic and delicious with a gluten free canoli that I will remember.

We came here because, after many days of fried foods and typical cuisine, we wanted something different (and above all with gluten-free options for me). We had a great time, the food is cooked with great care and there are many original gluten-free/vegetarian/vegan choices. The possibility of composing our own dish also gave us the opportunity to taste more dishes! The managers are very kind and the environment is really welcoming. Absolutely must try!!

One of the best pizzerias ever in Catania!!!! We went there for takeaway but then stayed to have dinner there, in a little corner... The delicious gluten-free dough, quality products, digestible pizza, excellent service, they were quite quick in serving us even though it was full both inside and outside!! This place was fabulous. We went on a Saturday evening, I called 1 hour before to make a reservation and I am glad I did, cause the place was full.
After eating I understood the reason, pizza was delicious, good pasta and even my daughter's gluten free pizza was very good. I would definitely go there again, when in Riposto. I highly recommend it.

We tasted both the arancino and the tuma-broccoli squash and a good potato pizza. Everything excellent. Very courteous staff. There is a table outside for eating. Excellent alternative for celiacs, lactose intolerants and others!
We stopped to eat a pizza because they also make it gluten-free and it was a really pleasant surprise; the gluten-free pizza is top with dough made by them, furthermore they have in addition to the normal dough, excellent, also a dough of ancient grains truly spectacular, top quality ingredients and a Sicilian craft beer to try.
For all the people who are celiac I do not recommend this place at all. They made the wrong pizza and even the dough was very thin, very raw, and very poor ingredients. Little attention in the kitchen.
I have celiac disease, thanks to Google I found this restaurant that offered gluten-free dishes, I think it is family-run. The service was impeccable, the food good and the bill consistent with what I ate. I think that if I pass through those parts again, I will return for lunch.
My husband and I spent three days in Catania (in addition to being pleasantly surprised by the city), we looked for a restaurant that served gluten-free dishes, we read the reviews and trusted what was published, the best choice was made, the owners and staff were very kind, we had a really good time and ate a lot. We dared to try a pasta with sea urchins and for us who come from Sardinia we can say that the exam was passed with flying colors.
