Seriousness, this unknown!!! A week before I go to the restaurant and speak with the blonde lady to ask if they do gluten-free pizza, having to bring a guest and I am given confirmation. Then once at the restaurant the waiter says: "we haven't been doing it for a few years!" Shocked, I say that I spoke a few days before and that it could be done. The fact is, the only alternative for a celiac was a "tagliere" for the modest sum of 15 euros and salads. The next day I go back to speak with the same blonde lady and this time she also tells me "we are not doing it in this period". You should say directly that you don't make pizza for celiacs, you will make a better impression! Celiac disease is not a fad like vegan and vegetarian!
Started with a few huge raw red shrimp, my first time having them like that and we're very good. Then we had a gluten free risotto and nice gluten free bread. Followed that with a filet of local white fish and grilled vegetables. And finally we were feeling a little more hungry than normal and had the local tuna salad. Everything was great, our waiter was very nice, and the music was oddly good.
They also had the best lemocello we tried on the island, less like a sweet syrup and more like a complex liqueur than most others.
