Lots of good food, even gluten-free. We ate 7 pizzas, 4 normal and 3 gluten-free and lactose-free, all good!! We will return to try the restaurant and the gluten-free desserts. Kind and welcoming staff. I recommend!

I stopped by casually and quickly for a business lunch and it was a pleasant surprise! The gluten-free pizza is really delicious and carefully prepared in a separate environment. (They have had AIC certification for several years!) I will definitely be back when I am in the area again and I really feel like recommending it! Well done!
Baia di Parè is not only an excellent restaurant, but also a small hotel with beautiful rooms with attention to detail. The structure offers an intimate and welcoming atmosphere, perfect for a relaxing stay overlooking the lake. The breakfast is very good, with quality options. As for the restaurant, it is in the AIC circuit, therefore perfect for those with gluten-free needs: the entire menu, from pizza to fish dishes, is available in a gluten-free version with great attention to safety. The prices are a little high, but the quality justifies the expense. A safe and recommended place both to dine and to stay!
It was the best gluten free panini I have ever had. Delicious bread. Absolutely recommend and must-try if you are gluten intolerant staying in Lecco :)
The whole wheat pizza surprised me a lot! Crunchy and intriguing. Excellent German beers. My partner also found the gluten-free pizza excellent.
Recommended place!
The logistics and lunch times make me include it among my favorites in Lecco for a quick Friday lunch. Excellent staff: kind; professional; smiling.
Gluten-free menu on request a little expensive compared to others but good. Perfect crispy bacon. The bread should be toasted a little longer because otherwise it will be spongy. Abundant medium quality chips. (I won't name names but another hamburger shop in Lecco for example at the same price offers more 'refined' and tasty bread with more renowned products from the gluten-free range and 'homemade/rustic' chips inside.
Coke on tap and a branded 'OWW' sauce.
Positive note they accept restaurant tickets.
Now the negative aspects to my taste: decidedly dark environment inside; more expensive than average.
Burger menu with chips and medium coke plus a jar of sauce €24.
The location is good if you eat at the outdoor tables overlooking the lake.
Very nice surprise.
Small, unpretentious pizzeria, extremely friendly, smiling owner who takes great care of the customers. The place is old but very clean.
A very VERY VERY large choice of pizzas, which probably means they won't be bored with lots of changes (but it's easy to choose when you know what you want/what you like).
We had antipasti and the same pizza (5 cheeses) 1X normal version and 1X gluten free.
The filling was very rich in cheese ❤️
The dough for the Gluten Free pizza looked industrial but it tasted really good with the toppings on it.
They have a dedicated oven for gluten-free 🙏
It's a nice place, but with prices a little high compared to what's on offer. I appreciate the possibility of having gluten-free first and second courses, as well as burgers, which makes it a good option for those with different dietary needs. The cuisine has a Spanish imprint, but the menu also includes other dishes, so there is a good variety. Overall, a positive experience, but it didn't completely convince me in relation to the price.
Situated in a small cute alley. The pasta was really good and reasonably priced for this area and is the best we had so far in this region. We had a carbonara and since im gluten intolerant I was excited to see they had 2 gluten-free pasta’s on the menu which was really delicious. Staff was really friendly. Don’t expect a long evening of dining, it’s eat and go.
Very good ice cream, the sautéed fig flavor is spectacular. They are part of the Associaz circuit. Italian Celiac disease and almost all flavors are gluten free, while the cones are only gluten free. They have a small garden corner where you can stop. They are also very attentive to the environment
Very good lunch also gluten-free. Friendly and professional staff, I would only increase the quantities a little small but everything was good, I will definitely be back.
Excellent pizza. One of the few places where you can find pizza for celiacs and lactose intolerants. I recently went to them on a Saturday evening and the pizza was a little less good than usual and a little burnt, management at peak times probably needs to be improved
I ate a pizza, not among the best but good! Nice, simple location. Excellent service. The grappa menu is to be appreciated, great variety.
Plus attention for celiacs, gluten-free dough for pizza
What can I say... an overly praised place... Unfortunately, there is a lot of choice of dishes but very few that are not fried or breaded, so those who are allergic to gluten or don't mainly like raw food find themselves with little choice compared to other sushi. Normal quality and nice place, certainly very high expectations compared to how I found myself.
Nice place run by guys, super clean place, you notice it when you go to the bathroom and it feels like you're at home, you can't find a hair, the open kitchen is beautiful which allows you to see the chefs at work Luana, Pietro, Alfredo, Alessandro , always equipped with gloves, friendly and fast staff, excellent value for money, don't eat the MCDONALD hamburger, the dishes are art, well prepared but above all delicious, last sandwich tried the CARBONARO, also recommended for GLUTEN FREE, they manage to making the same sandwiches only changes the bread, my wife suffering from celiac disease has never had any problems, the delicious pinse are also worth trying, if you have the opportunity and want to spend an afternoon on the Lungolario in Lecco, stop by, it will be worth it... TOP
We stayed at Locanda Capolago for 3 nights and were thrilled.
The restaurant is truly excellent: refined dishes, well executed and simply delicious. Almost the entire menu is naturally gluten-free, and this is precisely the reason that pushed us to choose this structure, in addition to the fact that it was an excellent starting point to continue our motorcycle trip.
The hotel is very well-kept. The rooms are tidied up very quickly while you are having breakfast, and every day all the products used are refilled (soap, cotton buds, etc.), in addition to a complete change of towels. There is no minibar in the room, but in the small hall you can freely take bottles of fresh water: a rare and truly appreciated attention!
The breakfast is excellent, with dishes prepared on the spot, also in gluten-free version. I loved the pancakes (not gluten-free), but there was really a choice for all tastes. The staff is very kind and we felt at home.
Only note to consider: the location is not central compared to other areas of the lake. Colico is quite isolated for those who follow a gluten-free diet: during the day the restaurant was closed we had to reach Lecco for dinner, and for lunch we often moved towards the Lecco-Como area. For us, even traveling by motorbike, it was a bit inconvenient.
Having said that, for the quality of the welcome, the services and the restaurant, the Locanda Capolago undoubtedly deserves 5 stars!
Pleasant surprise.
We took the vegetarian menu and it was all excellent and plentiful.
Also perfect for celiacs as there are plenty of gluten-free options.
The staff is really kind and helpful.
It's really worth it!
As a celiac I would say excellent dinner without any problems, kindness and courtesy are the setting for this beautiful restaurant. Highly recommended for all celiacs in the area and outside the area😊
What a recommendation if you like burgers you’ll love this place, staff are super friendly, interior is spot on but boy the burgers are epic, my son is gluten free and they sorted him right out. We had the same burgers but they split his into 4 as the size of the gluten free buns were smaller. Highly recommended
Beautiful view, terrible service and they boast of having gluten-free things (at the time of booking it had been specified and the booking had taken place 2 weeks before), obviously gluten-free things on the menu: 3. The frying was good, but I don't think I'll return.
Absolutely loved this cafe. Great place to stop on the way to Lecco. Espresso was excellent and the food was even better. They have great options for gluten free as well.
We drove all the way from the other side of lake Como to have diner here. End April. Popular to have diner (and lunch) in this beautiful village, so reservations are required! It was a wonderful experience. We had a three course a la carte diner. Great quality and beautifully presented almost like paintings! Wonderful, attentive staff who all speak good English. We had a window table from which the view on the lake and villages is spectacular. The weather was rainy but in good weather there is a wonderful terrace next to the dining room with even greater views. The owner is also very kind and hospitable. Yes it is above average priced compared with the many pizzerias. No pizza here, but a fairly large choice of many courses and many dishes including vegan and gluten-free. Excellent wine list. The staff is great and knowledgeable. Highly recommended. There is a hotel with a different name situated in the same building.
A nice pizzeria near the lake a stone's throw from the center of Mandello. As a tourist on holiday in the area I had dinner on two consecutive evenings and I can only speak highly of the Marilù pizzeria. Clean environment, very kind dining room staff, wide choice of pizzas with an excellent and light dough or alternatively with gluten-free dough. Wholemeal pasta is missing but it's a small thing. Very good pizzas and I compliment the pizza chef because they didn't give me any digestion problems, so they were well leavened and well cooked. Excellent value for money. Indoor and outdoor tables. Recommended by a tourist to tourists.
5 stars deserved.
It was a gift for my birthday from friends. Very, very positive experience! I have celiac disease, but I didn't have any problems, thanks to the attention of the staff. I advise!
Excellent pizzas that you can eat freshly baked.. Also gluten free.. Upon advance request.. Even with SPECTACULAR seafood... Where you can relax, enjoying the view with friends, for a birthday or romantic evening overlooking the lake... Welcoming, well equipped (also with bathroom for disabled people and showers)..
Amazing food and excellent service from all staff members. We enjoyed this restaurant so much that we went back a second time during our short stay in Varenna.
We are both gluten free and whilst they have few gf options they are delicious and filling ! We had spaghetti one night and risotto the other. They also have gf bread and bread sticks for the table !! :-)
Grazie mille from Ella and Mitch ! 🇦🇺🙌🏼
We went to Bellosteria...very nice and particular (the hand-painted canvases are very beautiful) excellent cuisine with attention also paid to people with allergies (my wife has celiac disease) who can find dishes dedicated to them on the menu...thank you, we will be back Surely
