Came here last night with family for my mums birthday, everything was amazing could not fault it. Delicious food, fantastic service and a great atmosphere. My nephew was very taken with the talented voice of Serene Boulton. With two people who are gluten free / dairy free eating out is often a challenge but they made it so easy. Definitely recommend going.
Food was great. Hearty servings of contemporary nz kai. Being celiac I was delighted to find normal tasting gf food. The carrot cake was DIVINE! That is already calling me back! A great location opposite orewa beach. Such a cool spot amongst the beach vibes of Orewa.
We had a wonderful evening at Coast, in the midst of terrible heavy rain outdoors! Excellent, attentive service by Sarah for our large family group, great food, comfortable surrounds.
Special attention was given to the three members of our group who have Coeliac's disease, with the chef heating fresh oil on the stove top in order to deep fry food for us without cross-contamination - this was hugely appreciated by our 7 year old who always misses out on hot fries! Thank you again.
Went here because the reviews said there were some good vegan options but it seems that was a few years ago. Waitress wasn't sure what vegan options they have but then suggested vegetarian options. There seemed to be only one choice for vegan and gluten free which was a spicey salty sandwich with mushroom and it didn't taste great. Chips were good though. We were charged extra for soy milk but didn't get it. Nice enough place but it seems they have quite a few new staff so it may be better in future.
Amazing the service was wonderful. They accommodated a nut allergy and a gluten allergy amazingly.

Absolutely amazing food, fast service and so many options. As someone who is gluten free it was amazing to be able to go in and know I was safe. My mum and nana are allergic (Mum more so than my nana) and both of them were surprised at the options that they could have as well. We will definitely be back to support these guys
Not suitable for vegans.
Paid $27 for 3 slices of thin toast, a little bit of avo and what can only be described as jam, what was meant to beetroot hummus. Also asked for some Lemon and another slice of toast and it never arrived.
I’m sure it’s a great cafe if you eat animals.
They also have lots of gluten free cakes that we did not try as were plant based.
Great menu, very well prepared, always fresh, very tasty1. Quality food with reasonable prices. Very friendly personnel. Gluten free options available also.
Fabulous fresh chicken satay salad - definitely made in house today. Very flexible menu with lots of options for everyone - gluten free, other dietary restrictions or none . Lovely staff - Highly recommend 😊

I mentioned I was gluten intolerant and had no reaction - yay. Great variance of food choices of fish type and how it’s cooked, burgers, seafoods, sweet treats and many more options you would expect from a good Kiwi fish’n’chips shop. I’m impressed.
