We had a Christmas tea today. Large group which included children too. Unfortunately we didn't get out first drinks until 45 minutes after we arrived. Then two came 10 mins before all the others.
The restaurant was very busy I understand that but we had prebooked.
The children's food came before the adults, so much so that they were completely finished before my food came out.
This meant they started feasting on my meal and Unfortunately for me I didn't get much of it!
I will say the gluten free options were fantastic, and my daughter who is more sensitive than myself when it comes to gluten has not had a tummy ache on returning home. Which is rare because in a lot of places Unfortunately this can happen due to cross contamination. So I'm very grateful for the care taken.
The atmosphere was lovely and the staff friendly.
It was just a bit frustrating waiting around.

Our first visit today. Relaxed, attentive staff.
Knowledgeable about Coeliac and plenty of choices with alternatives offered.
This venue's flamboyant, eclectic decor and themed areas create a vibrant setting, but its approach to gluten-free dining is notably limited. While the atmosphere buzzes with upbeat energy and the cocktail menu delights, those seeking gluten-free accommodations may find options restricted, as the kitchen does not fully cater to gluten-free diets despite the friendly service and quick food delivery.

Fabulous and funky bar in emsworth. Firstly the decor is insane! So flamboyant and eclectic! Lots of tables situated in different themed areas! We had an Xmas meal (we had a gluten free which they catered for fine) which was lovely. Very generous portions. Good came out quickly and the staff were so friendly. Lovely cocktail menu so it’s a good place to come to eat or just have drinks. We booked in advance as does get very busy! But would 100% recommend!

I just wanted to say a huge well done to the Blue Bell I have coeliac disease and have to follow a strict gluten free diet. The bar staff were so knowledgeable about their menu and the things that they could adapt for me.
I chose the fish and chips meal. Giles made a gluten free batter and cooked both in a separate fryer so there was no risk of cross contamination. It was delicious, the batter was light and crispy.
A really great experience. Thank you.

Lovely spot, especially on a sunny day. A little light on gluten-free options, but good for everyone else.

The Mamawu is an ideal meet-up location and worthy of being called a destination cafe. The large free car park, easy accessibility, directly on the main road, and being easy to spot make this an ideal location as a starting point for group rides.
Friendly, chatty, and knowledgeable staff make ordering a pleasure, even for fussy eaters.
Vegan, vegetarian, coeliac, gluten intolerance, wheelchair, and dog friendly, it has a lot going for it. There are several tables with mains power, which make it an ideal place to snack and work.
It also uses locally sourced ingredients where it can. The food, however, was a mixed bag of delight and disappointment.
We both had a small breakfast, no tomatoes, with a coffee that came in at £13.50 per head. This puts it above the average price locally. I will start with the sausage, the heart of any full english. Only gluten-free sausages are available, and even though it is a butchers gluten free sausage, it really did lack in texture and taste and were incredibly dry. Maybe you could consider making a few non gluten free sausages available for the 99% of the population that is not gluten intolerant or a coeliac. The bacon was well cooked and very tasty, along with the artisan bread. The hash browns were pretty standard, as were the beans that were, for some unknown reason, served cold. The mushrooms, however, were a delight as were the eggs, with their vibrant orange, dippy yolks.
It had the feel of a busy community hub with people working on laptops, dog walkers, and wheelchair users, all enjoying the facilities provided.
Would we stop here again? For sure, but definitely not for the sausages.
