Usually I have the chicken tarragon which is sublime but thought I'd try the carvery today. Can't say I was impressed, the potatoes were soggy as were the parsnips, the carrots were too hard, the meat was nice, couldn't have certain bits as they weren't gluten free, had to have veg gravy which was disappointing. Wouldn't have another carvery will go back to the chicken tarragon.

Very friendly service, incredibly polite and nice. You can put together your own pizza or choose one that has already been put together. Both pizzas were fantastic, the dough was perfect and the toppings were rich with fresh ingredients. There are also vegan and gluten-free options. The decor is also very nice and tasteful, and I really liked it 😊

The Wild Thyme Cafe in Braunton turned out to be a delightful surprise. Don't let its location facing a car park deter you. Although our order took a bit longer than expected, it was worth the wait. I had their BLISS BOWL (£11.25) with honey and chili grilled halloumi, roasted peppers, salad, seeds, and hummus. They kindly substituted rice for couscous due to my gluten intolerance. Mia, our waitress, was exceptionally helpful and friendly. 🙏

Came in for a takeaway coffee on my way back to London and was happy they also had a delicious gluten free cake to go with it. Lovely shop!
