We had a lovely meal here, staff were really friendly, excellent knowledge of gluten free / celiac options (as we always find at the lounges), our dog Darcy enjoyed the attention and her own specially made sausage treat (they even do doggy food options!)
All in all a fantastic visit, thank you

I came here for a meal with a group and I’m sorry to say was left wishing I’d not come at all. The place is dark and uninviting. We were not spending a small sum per head either. We ordered drinks but at some point during the evening the waitress had forgotten what we had ordered and asked us to remember. One of my party had special dietary needs and she ordered the potato skins only to have them bundled away from her by the waiter “ No you can’t have those sorry” They brought her a small bowl of olives instead. My steak was tough, the chips over large and rather undercooked. My kedgeree was disgusting. A plate of tepid rice with shop bought curry sauce dribbled over it with cold haddock on top. I was nonplussed. I make kedgeree quite often and it does not look like this. The chef needs to go back to college. The crowning moment of disgust was when the waiter was bringing the cheese and biscuits to my long suffering co diner. He was saying he thought they were gluten free but was gesticulating while holding her plate. The biscuits shot out over the table and broke. He responded by picking up the broken pieces and shoving them back on the plate before handing it to her. We were incredulous!
I suppose it might be nice to sit in the garden for a quick drink before going somewhere nicer.
The toilet smelt of urine and the flush did not work. Not worth the money we spent and it was a fee hours we will never get back .

I am very sorry to say I was disappointed with this restaurant.
I ordered mussels as a starter which were priced at £11.95. I received 12 mussels, 3 of which were hollow, I of which was inedible and they were quite small.
My daughter and a friend had Antipasti to share requesting gluten free bread £17.95.
The platter arrived with no bread and when I asked where the bread was he told us they didn't have any. The lettuce was stale and see through. Their was a couple of slices of salami, chorizo and parma ham, 4 slices of cheese half an inch wide and no dressing.
I am unable to recommend this restaurant as it is grossly overpriced and definitely not value for money.

Have been here a few times with family. Lately I have needed to go gluten free on top of vegan which is tricky when eating out. Generally I dread GF/DF pizzas but these were really good - if you didn't know any better, you would assume it wasn't (don't worry - it is different to their normal ones). They had a number of options I could have for starters, mains and dessert and all were really nice. The owner and staff are all very friendly and happy to answer any questions. Great little restaurant.
