As someone who is gluten intolerant, it was a joy to find that Saltwater Fish & Chips will cook your fish of choice in gluten free batter, and we have to say it was delicious. Light and crispy and not at all greasy, and my wifes' comment was that it was better even than the usual gluten batter that she would have. Sadly I was unable to get the recipe for the batter mix, so I guess we'll have to just keep returning. Well done, and thank you for your kind and friendly service, you made our day.

Staff super friendly and offers a wide choice on menu with gluten free and vegan options. Restaurant was clean and set up nicely. Service was good, food was fresh and very tasty. Only disappointing thing was vegan wines were pretty non existent which was a shame. Would love to revist.

Wow - where do I start!
I am coeliac and haven’t had a Chinese in a long time. I came across Wok’s by accident , but after seeing the amount of gluten free opinions on their menu and reading some reviews we decided to give it a go. When I arrived I was warmly greeted by the young lady at the desk, I explained that I was coeliac and had a few questions to ask about food preparation / cross contamination/ fryers etc - she could not have put me any more at ease!
She was able to explain in depth about how everything was prepared, the steps they go through to ensure cross contamination is controlled and it was clear to see that they took allergens seriously and were knowledgeable about them which is refreshing! 80% of their menu was gluten free! You can see right into the kitchen that was immaculately clean. Their phones were ringing continuously whilst I was waiting and it was clear to see why.
We drove 25 to get there and the same on the way back - when we got home the food was still hot and wow it was so tasty!
We ordered; egg fried rice, seaweed, chicken and onions in garlic sauce, c chicken with cashew nuts, sweet and sour chicken balls, crispy chilli beef and beef chow mein (free prawn crackers).
My husband and 6 year old were happy and I was able to enjoy my delicious takeaway with zero anxiety about being glutened. I cannot recommend Wok’s cookin highly enough and we cannot wait to come back!

Very few members of staff to serve. Lots of time waiting and we are and had our desserts served despite still having our main meal plates still on the table throughout
Decent value for money with taste card but it's the second visit in 6 weeks and the service is still pretty awful from an availability perspective
Was also a birthday meal which we added to the notes on the booking with 1 gluten free party member, but that wasn't acknowledged at all either.

First time visiting as we were down visiting family. This was suggested as a safe place for one of our party who is coeliac. The NGCI menu was clear and when mentioned to the staff we needed gluten free all necessary questions were asked. Two of the group had carvery and the food looked amazing. The gf chicken tikka was really nice and very hot. The mango chutney was particularly good. The other member of the group had scampi and said this was really nice.
We enjoyed our meal and will come again next time in the area.

Only feedback would be on the GF Roast we ordered, no Yorkshire pudding or cauliflower cheese - fully understand they have gluten in but an alternative would be nice or maybe a reduction in price ? As the non GF roast was the same price but had Yorkshire puddings and cauliflower cheese.
