We stayed next to the Erick Schat's Bakery but it seems like a touristy location and places like that tend to be overrated so we went with Great Basin which seems to be a more local spot based on a Reddit. I got the ham and cheese croissant and the hubby got a gluten free chocolate chip cookie. I'm a ham and cheese croissant connoisseur but Great Basin's did not disappoint. Hubby was also very happy with his GF cookie - perfect texture of fluffy and crumbly, and a right amount of sweetness. There also seem to be quite a bit of locals when we stopped by. Highly recommend!

The cafe is in the back of an indie bookstore. To me it seemed to be more of the local coffee shop, everyone that came in knew the baristas by name and it’s much less busy than the other cafes on Main st.. they had gluten free bread for my sandwhich and the option of an unsweetened chia latte, which was all delicious! The bookstore sells many things by local artists, drop in and show them some love! Parking in back.

This place is right by our shop, so I eat from here often. Amazing breakfasts! Delicious ceviche! The combo meals are huge-served with beans and rice. I love to mix the mild and hot salsas together for the perfect heat. Extensive a la carte menu if you want something lighter. The service is always top-notch and to-go orders are always ready lightning fast and packaged well. Also one of the only places in Bishop that lists gluten-free options on their menu. So thankful for this place.

Sure are a LOT of excuses being given out. What difference does the time make that a family ate here? Food, Service & Atmosphere should be always be a “10”. If a person orders a Kid Burger, due to being Gluten-Free, then, why not just accommodate her & not charge her for a full size burger? What’s next, a $10 charge to Dine-IN ?.

Awesome place to eat! Even the decor with Godzilla on the walls is fun. The food comes out so fast! And the quality was great. We tried the tofu ramen with gluten free noodles, very good. And the poki bento box, excellent. Thai tea was good too.
