The food is always good, and their baked potato soup is good enough to dream about. As much as possible, they use something other than wheat flour to thicken the soups, so there are usually wheat-free choices (though not necessarily gluten-free, as all the food is prepared in the same place). I think their coffee is the best in town, and the deli section has some really good selections. If you're looking for a great lunch, this is it.
I'm gluten intolerant, so I don't even eat pizza but I broke the rule at Otto's because it's so freaking delicious. Had the white pizza with vegetables. The crust is both crisp and chewy, flavorful with olive oil. Gluten gives me a headache - Otto's pizza did not. Which means I'll be going back at some point 😄. The service is efficient and friendly. The outdoor ambiance is so pretty and relaxing.
We enjoyed a truly wonderful anniversary dinner at Grano Arso! Service was warm and attentive, atmosphere was refined casual, drinks were fantastic, wine list was good, and the food stole the show. The Braised Beef was to die for, the Chicken was phenomenal, and the Toasted Rye Tagliatelle was excellent (and the gluten free pasta was a pleasant surprise). Salads and side were also amazing. And save room for dessert; the Affogato was the perfect ending to an incredible meal. We also loved strolling around downtown Chester after our meal, for a drink at another restaurant, some live music, and some delicious ice cream; who knew it was such a hot spot, and on a Tuesday evening! We can't wait to come back!
