Pretty good pizza, great service, a little overhyped.
30-45 minute wait on a Saturday evening without reservations…not bad. We were served small samples while we waited which was much appreciated.
We shared the Salsiccia e broccoletti to start which was absolutely delicious. The Italian sausage was full of flavor and rapini was excellent.
My Cafona pizza was pretty underwhelming. Tomato sauce was too watery which soaked through most of the undercooked crust. My partner loved their gluten free Fiorentina! Good GF crust is hard to find.
Firstly, service gets a 10/5 stars. I have a bad gluten allergy, and they are always respectful and accommodating when they can for my allergy. The food is easily some of the best food I've had. I just ate the roasted asparagus, and my mouth was watering before I took my first bite. It was so flavorful. Hopleaf also has a large selection of beers and wine from all over the world. If you are looking for a casual setting with upscale service and food, Hopleaf is the place to go.
A perfect little cafe!! Enjoyed the menu and Gluten Free options. The food was tasty, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere is fun. Highly recommend!!
I order sandwiches here on a weekly basis. This location is fast, I never wait long for an order. The staff is always friendly. Love this place.
- Another perfect example why I only order from this location! I showed up a few minutes early and they weren’t finished making my order. Because I had to wait 10 minutes to finish they gave me a few sub cards for waiting. The staffs always friendly and the sandwiches are made well! As a gluten-free customer the bread is never stale and always fresh. Thank you so much for such good service!
If you have Celiac, or are sensitive to gluten don’t order from the “gluten free” portion of the menu- it’s not gluten free. I spent a the majority of my night violently ill from one of the dishes. (And did report it to the restaurant)
Nestled in a charming setting, Munno offers a delightful take on Italian favorites, showcasing thoughtful preparation and attention to detail.
We began with the Giardiniera della Casa and the Insalata Pere, Pecorino e Noci. The house-made giardiniera featured a colorful mix of pickled vegetables, including cauliflower, radicchio, fennel, and more, perfectly balanced with a tangy vinegar base and a subtle hint of spice from Calabrian chili. The salad was equally enjoyable, combining wild arugula, radicchio, Bartlett pear, aged pecorino Toscano, and walnuts with a balsamic vinaigrette for a harmonious blend of flavors and textures.
For the main courses, the Mezze Maniche alla Carbonara was a standout. Made gluten-free upon request, the noodles were so well-crafted that I wouldn’t have known they were gluten-free. The artisanal short rigatoni was perfectly al dente, coated in a smooth sauce of guanciale, egg yolk, pecorino romano, and black pepper. The Circo Massimo pizza rounded out the meal with its expertly crafted crust—a delightful balance of chewiness and crispness—and satisfying toppings.
Munno offers a warm and welcoming experience, with dishes that are thoughtfully prepared and enjoyable from start to finish. It’s a lovely spot for a good Italian meal that leaves you content and satisfied.
