Wanted to grab a bite to eat with my husband after a long day for us at work. We came across MOD Pizza. For our first time experience I give them a 5 star rating across the board. We were welcomed by multiple friendly faces and greetings, and were given great suggestions by staff while ordering. They also have gluten-free and cauliflower crust options. We went with a build your own pizza which turned out to be the best pizza I have ever had. They cook their pizzas in a stone oven which makes it even better. From first timers to frequent flyers to say the least. Thank yall for a pleasant experience!
What in the world happened, BJs?? Normally, you're one of my favorite places to eat! That's actually why we chose this restaurant - being from out of town, and your restaurant right near where we're staying, we thought, "Hey! We love BJ's! Let's go get a great meal tonight!" Yeah, no.
Our waitress was fantastic, so no complaints there. She knew the menu inside and out, and was kind, friendly, attentive. Five stars for her.
But the food? Nope.
* cold soup
* dry beef on the wedge salad
* over cooked tortilla chips with the quac and salsa
* quac was brown (yuck!)
* over toasted gluten free bun (that I had to pay extra for!)
* dry chicken
* chicken was sliced on my "burger" (What is that?? Just leave it whole.)
* Seriously? Kraft sliced American cheese? No. I strongly urge you to spring for some actual American cheese.
* cold, almost raw broccoli (as my side)
CLEARLY, our meal was less than amazing. Did it fill our bellies? Sure. But it was absolutely not enjoyable.
I am a trace-sensitive celiac patient. Have eaten here a few times with zero issues. It is a little bit pricey however, their gluten-free buns are absolutely delicious and with the guaranteed safety I’ve had so far, it’s definitely worth the cost for a nice night out.
We've ordered here several times as there aren't too many pizza places that offer anything for someone who is gluten sensitive. Their pickle pizza is amazing! Tonight I decided to try something new and I'm so glad I did. My husband had the boneless wings with Nashville Hot and he said they were DELICIOUS. I got the gluten free chicken club sandwich. The chicken wasn't dry at all and the garlic aoili was perfectly flavored. I will order this sandwich again for sure!
Excellent fish restaurant, with a constantly changing menu of fish of the day. It's costly, but delicious. Warm bread, great appetizers and a variety of preparation styles. Had the walleye and seared perfectly. Balsamic salmon was amazing! They had a separate gluten-free menu and said that GF is prepared in a separate area.
Server went out of their way to make sure my dinner was both gluten and dairy free for me and even brought a dessert I could eat. Staff was happy and friendly. Great atmosphere and food was cooked to perfection.
Antonio's Caprese and gluten free bread basket make an amazing lunch or dinner if you are someone who needs to eat gluten free. I always have leftovers. You won't find gluten free bread like this anywhere else. It's modeled after their house bread. Brushed garlic butter and served warm and crispy.
Our meal,lasagna, ceasar great.Our friends disatisfied.Not offered gluten free options and his pizza not satisfactory.
Waitress not at all helpful with the gluten free options and didn't seem to care.Spoke to head chef.He said they would have made recommendation if they'd been asked by her.
Unbelievably great, friendly service! The food was fresh and delicious. Definitely try the salsa that’s served warm. Good for those with a gluten allergy.
I haven’t been to P.F. Chang’s in a while, My seven-year-old granddaughter wanted to come last week. It is her favorite restaurant.
Last week when we came for dinner, we had an exceptional waiter, I don’t remember his name. The food was absolutely delicious! Her children’s fried rice with chicken and broccoli was the best I’ve ever seen it. Every time she had it before they were just little flicks or slivers of breading with such a small itsy-bitsy piece of chicken that you could barely see it. This time, they gave her nice big pieces of chicken in her fried rice. I was so impressed. She was so happy! Her favorite waiter at this particular P.F. Chang’s is Matt, but it was a really long wait to get a table with him , we did, however; get an incredible other gentleman that waited on us.
Today, I thought I would stop in for a late lunch early dinner and get the new pad Thai. It is so good!
The waitress I had today was a sweet girl. However, I had to take some home so she brought me a container and a bag. I thought OK I guess I have to pack it up myself. I got a bit, spoiled by the gentleman we had last week, actually packed our leftovers up for us and it was a busy Friday night. Today waitress asked me if I wanted any dessert and told me they had a gluten-free chocolate soufflé. I said sure! I had to take it with me because I was too full from the pad Thai and even had leftovers from that. She brought me a bag and it contained what you will see in the photo less than a small muffin sized chocolate soufflé and some ice cream over ice. There was never any mention of ice cream. The soufflé was $11.29! Ouch ouch ouch I did not know that little itsy-bitsy three or four bites of chocolate would cost me so much money. I didn’t see a menu so I didn’t see the price. She mentioned the chocolate soufflé, but never mentioned the ice cream , I am lactose intolerant and cannot have ice cream. I politely explained to her that I am lactose intolerant, I left the untouched, unopened ice cream. I told her I did not know that it contained ice cream. She said she was sorry and left it at that. No offer to remove it from my bill or ask if there was anything she could do for me. I learned a valuable lesson and that is to look at the dessert menu myself to see what is included in the desert and especially the price. This is way too small of a dessert to cost $11.29 , it would’ve been nice of her to tell me that it came with ice cream. I would not have ordered the dessert. I still left her a 20% tip which I was hesitant to do but I have a really kind heart a lot of times I will tip 25 and 30% or more if I have got outstanding service. I’m a little reluctant to come back although I really love the pad thai. I will request a different server next time and I will look at the menu so I know how much I’m going to pay for a few bites of dessert. When you see the photo, you can tell how tiny the chocolate soufflé is because the little container with some raspberry sauce in it is little and tiny.
One of the absolute best places to get breakfast or brunch. The food is excellent and the staff are great. They also have gluten free options! Can't recommend this place enough.
Very nice American diner. We loved everything we ordered; including, desserts. They have gluten free buns and cooked everything carefully. We will definitely eat here again.
Always a reliable meal. I like the build your own pasta dish. Meatballs are great. And they have gluten free pasta without an up charge. Love the endless salad bowl! soup is good too. Good value. During peak hours, get on the waitlist through their website.

Pretty decent. Sometimes the portions for the GF noodles are quite small, despite ordering a larger size. I have celiac disease and haven't gotten sick yet. The staff isn't super outgoing, but still friendly.
We were there with a large group, for over 6 hours. Our server was fantastic.. personable, accommodating, and attentive. The drinks were delicious.. enjoyed the mango margarita and the strawberry lemon drop.
Gluten free items are not listed on the menu, that makes it a bit difficult to order when you're medically required to follow that diet. However, our server was helpful and found out which items were safe to eat.
The food was good. The rice did have peas in it though which I found weird.
Located in a strip mall with other restaurants so parking was limited. We had to park next door at the Dollar store.
All in all, a great time. We will return.
Our family of 5 chose IHOP, Livonia after not visiting prior to pre-covid time , clearly change of all staff. Disappointed from beginning to end, primarily because they were not that busy, and seemed well staffed.. Order drinks took 45 minutes & another 45 minutes at least to order. 1 1/2 hours invested now as we were chatting, catching up since my husband & I came from out of town to visit our kids who live in Redford/Highland areas. Our son ordered eggs benedict, his eggs came out hard boiled 😩. I never received my side of pancakes, after mentioning 3 times to waitress & my daughter ordered gluten free waffle which came out 1/2 hr after all of our food & very dry, to add My husband's Omelet was double cooked under there heat lamp, 😄. Ridiculous wait times, A doesn't talk to B ...we were seated shortly after 1 left after 3:45sh. Manager was accommodating to take off our sons order, conped us for my missing pancakes but nothing more for our long wait time & other unsatisfactory food. Unfortunate..this used to be a great place when we chose to eat outside of our normal go to Redford Grille. IHOP we will not be returning.
Terrible service ordered gluten free number 6. Bread was dry. They didn't bother asking if I have allergy to gluten. Used same knife to cut my sandwich after using it on another customers sandwich. This owner need to hire people that care.
Their pizza is great. I'm gluten free and I really like their gluten free crust. They haven't ever messed up my order. They always deliver on time or early. I definitely recommend ordering from them.
As an Executive Assistant, I am always on the look-out for good catering services. Apple Spice checks every box: they are courteous, reliable & timely. Ordering from them, especially the group ordering feature, is easy. Meals are fully customizable, with vegetarian and gluten free options. Because of the unique way they package the meals, they are careful of sensitive food needs and prevent cross contamination. And to top it all off, the food is fantastic. Apple Spice is a guaranteed crowd pleaser.
Was at Mama Mias for dinner recently it was an incredible experience. Food and our Server, Jessica were fantastic. Kitchen staff and Jessica when above and beyond to prepare food for my Celiac daughter. Will definitely be returning.
Not only was the food delicious, but the service was excellent. The manager, Shawn, did a great job swapping out all the utensils and taking care to ensure my Mom's food was made with no cross-contamination (since she had gluten issues).
OMG! This is seriously THE BEST GLUTEN FREE pizza I’ve had in years!
The sauce is yummy. The dough is divine and the “everything” toppings are everything I could ask for and more!
Seriously fantastic pizza! Thanks Green Lantern Crew!
Excellent food. The tortellini was phenomenal with juicy, perfectly-seasoned, flavorful meat inside. The mushrooms were large, meaty, and flavorful, giving the sauce a flavor similar to truffle. There were pieces of fresh sage and thyme in the sauce that I loved. This surprisingly made the list of one of the best pasta dishes I’ve ever had—don’t skip on that tortellini.
My husband had a great gluten-free option as well with a delicious sausage on top. The pasta fagioli was yummy as well.
We got two main dishes with complimentary bread and olive oil (they accommodated my husband’s gluten sensitivity by bringing us GF bread), soup or salad, and my husband got a Pepsi all for $58 without tip.
We hope to be back soon.
