The crowd on Halloween was festive and fun but busy, sitting out on the enclosed patio with blankets was nice but wish we could have been inside. The service was quick and felt rushed, again Halloween night it's to be expected. The best thing about coming was the menu had so many gluten-free options it took what felt like forever.
The food was great, comfort food with plenty of diverse options. The gluten free mac and cheese was the most memorable item that was consumed by me that night, 2 months ago, I still think fondly of dish. Hence the review! If I lived close to this restaurant there would be a chair with my name on it ordering that mac and cheese and many of the made from scratch items on the menu. So grateful to have a home-made, made to order gluten-free mac and cheese.
Warning not for people with gluten allergies. I ordered a gluten free bagel that was dry, burnt and without flavor, they refused a refund on a bagel that costed me $7.99 (cream cheese is $5.99). The farm fresh omelet was barely edible and came without the advertised avocado they refused to fix just refunded $2 for the avocado. The hash browns were McDonald’s quality and shockingly flavorless. I paid over $27 dollars for a breakfast that was mediocre at best but totally inedible if you like quality food. I suggest going somewhere else if you want good food.
Love stopping here after a day at the wineries. Some of the best gluten free and vegan pizza we’ve ever had!!! Add basil and hot honey is delicious. This place is worth a stop, especially if you’re in a rush.
Crepes (and the Colombian coffee) were outstanding. They have many options of sweet and savory crepes - and they can also be made gluten-free if someone in your group has Celiac. The owner and staff were very friendly and helpful as well.
Taylor was welcoming and gracious and so sweet to our group!! Explained the menu and very knowledgeable about celiac/gluten free!
Thank you for a wonderful evening-memorable and fun!!! Taylor is a gem 💜
The Halyard is an absolute gem on the North Fork. The view is gorgeous, the ambience and decor are flawless. The main lobby and dining area are crisp, calm and serene while the piano bar has the coziest old world charm with red leather booths. The swordfish and fluke were exceptional. Great options for gluten free (GF) diners. The waitstaff was friendly. Can’t wait to come back!
Wow, the Korean food was fantastic and my wife is a celiac and dairy free and she could have most of the items on the menu including Korean SSAM platter which she thought was delicious! Next day she felt fine which meant they really what they were doing with allergies. Foremost the food was really tasty!
