Visiting the area & ordered a gluten free pizza as part of a larger take out order. When I looked in the box, it did not look like any gluten-free pizza I had ordered before, anywhere. I have celiac disease so I am very skeptical of mistakes and cross-contamination. I called Alfie‘s and spoke to the owner I believe. He explained how they make their deep dish gluten-free dough from scratch. Was it ever delicious! I can’t wait to visit the area again and stop in for another!

Greeted by I assume the owner, we expressed our concerns about my wife’s celiac allergy and were assured that we would be safe. A couple of things that they should consider. First every guest should be told about any specials, we were not. Second we waited a very long time for our meals to arrive, although when they did they were hot and very flavorful. Portion sizes were appropriate for the price charged. Overall we were pleased and will probably return.
