Such a quiet and yummy place to meet friends. I always get the Greek salad here and it’s fire. This time I got a side salad Greek and a custom pizza with white sauce basil tomato and sausage. It was very delicious.
My friend is gluten and dairy free and had a delicious looking pizza that met all of her dietary needs.
It was a Monday night and there were very few customers. We had the back corner booth to ourselves and never felt rushed.
We loved that they stay open until 10pm also. So many places started closing early since the Covids.
Go check them out!
Great place to eat. Daily specials plus an excellent menu. Something for everybody. They have a veggie casserole and gluten free pancakes too. Try it you'll like it.
We just had the most awesome experience with Culver’s. Such responsible staff!!! Saw we waiting went in to check our order. Service with a smile. Then realized they forgot our gluten free buns and CALLED us. It took them 3 tries to get us and then gave us free custard. We will be back. Chick fil A watch out
Stumbled across this place and did a U-turn! Glad I did! Grabbed a delicious coffee, gluten free crepe and bar. Staff was warm and friendly and addressed my dietary questions. If in Indian trail I’d recommend checking them out!
My husband and I discovered this little gem of a coffee shop about a month ago, and have been enjoying the wonderful service and products offered here. Gluten free, and dairy free, options are all available - and the GF muffins are fantastic. My favorite drink has become the Cascara Tea, and I highly recommend it. Cathy is a gem and we love spending our time here working or relaxing. We love supporting small, local businesses, as they often offer the best coffee and treats...and this shop doesn't disappoint!
📸: Captured here is a Cinnamon GF muffin and a Chai Spice tea with a hint of coconut milk.
This will be detailed review but in summary, ugh. So disappointed and just seemed like they didn't care.
Just moved here so checking out a new restaurant each day. Saw this place had tapas so definitely wanted to try it. It was definitely not busy with just one other table seated because it was around lunch time.
The decor/furniture looked nice at first glance but you see how dirty they are. Granted it would be difficult to keep fabric clean at a restaurant but is a necessity if you praise yourself on "best interior".
Menu had a note on the bottom that if "GS" was on the item it was "gluten sensitive" but it wasn't anywhere on the menu, so it wasn't very helpful.
Our server was polite but just seemed to not care. Didn't write down our order so left off one of the plates. They had to bring it to me at the end of the meal. My partner informed him that I couldn't have gluten. On the ceviche it is listed with tortilla chips. He brought out pita chips instead. I told him again that I couldn't have that and if I could please have the tortilla chips that were mentioned on the menu. He just walked off, not rude or mean, but didn't say anything. A couple minutes went by and I still didn't have them and wasn't sure what was going on. I asked him when he came with another dish for my partner and he said "oh well they have to cook them." That is cool but it would be nice to know.
The server also worked as the bartender and was making the drinks. My moscow mule was just not very good. Not a lot of flavor, tasted a lot like water or club soda with a splash of vodka on top. It wasn't mixed. I am a super lightweight but didn't feel anything after drinking the whole thing.
I also saw him make someone a to-go drink from a bottle behind the bar. It was definitely some alcohol in a styrofoam cup. Looks like someone that he knew but it was just weird.
The food was just meh. Got ceviche, arancini, philly egg roll, chicken lettuce wrap, bruschetta, and Cesar salad.
The ceviche had four small pieces of fish.
Ceviche - Bone was in one of the pieces, ok not a big deal, but it was just a bunch of tomato and onions. That's it. Like as a pico de gallo it would be good but not for 10 dollars.
Arancini - Partner said it was great but it was suppose to include prosciutto on it and did not so it was missing something it needed. Server removed it from the ticket without us even asking so that is nice.
Philly egg roll - it was really good! It was two smaller ones instead of a large one, which is shown online, but still very tasty.
Bruschetta - my partner said it was good as well. The bread was good and the bruschetta mix tasted good but was really watery so it made the bread mushy. But it was also missing the parmesan cheese, the bread was not grilled, and a lot smaller than the picture online.
Cesar salad - Partner said it was fine. The anchovies were a bit much but a good salad.
Chicken lettuce wrap - sorry for the harsh words, but disgusting. I literally could make this and I am not a great cook. It was just ground chicken with some onions. It was not good and so disappointing. This is the dish the server forgot to ring in so he took it off the bill without asking as well.
We will not be back. The price for the food was not good AND the food wasn't good. It just seems like they don't care. And I don't want to spend my hard-earned money in this economy somewhere they don't care.
To be fair, we have only ordered the Margherita pizza because that is typically a family favorite. We ordered once and I forgot it wasn’t a hit in our home and just ordered it again. Unfortunately, their Margherita pizza has no real flavor to it. They have a sauceless Margherita which makes it too dry. As for the cheese, no flavor either. Margherita pizza needs a really good mozzarella. And lastly, sandwich sliced tomatoes, eh. I even requested sides of sauce to see if that helped, but sadly it didn’t. Sorry guys but this pizza recipe just doesn’t cut it.
I personally need a gluten free of which they have several options. Again, not a lot of flavor and over cooked. I don’t think we’ll be ordering their pizza again.
We were happy The Trail House has a gluten free menu. The gluten free hamburger buns are good! They have a large selection of different food on the regular menu as well. My husband loves the key lime pie. You can also get an ice cream scoop for a gluten free dessert.
