This place is a hidden gem. We were a little confused because the menu online was different from the menu we received, but they said they just started the new Italian menu on Thursday and they were still working out the kinks. The food was delicious, I’m so happy to see vegan and gluten free options offered in such a small southern town. One of the owners came out and checked on us as we were eating our meal, which was a great touch. She was super friendly and it was great talking to her. Will only do gluten free Fri or Sat because I think the preparer I like works weekends. Whoever he is has a knack with it in my opinion. I know it shouldn’t matter so it’s probably just in my mind. Nice young people who hustle for a living. I like that and tip them well. You should too.

I had a wonderful experience at Riverview Cafe. They were slammed, but service was still great, staff were attentive and the food was amazing! Salmon and grilled shrimp were cooked perfectly. I am unfortunately gluten and dairy free, but I heard many people raving about the hushpuppies. That being said they were very accommodating with my food allergies and offered substitutes that I could eat. It was a wonderful experience and I would definitely go back again to try their other seafood options.
As a side note they have a diverse menu with lots of turf items as well. There were also a lot of locals coming in, as staff greeted them by name and all were happy to see each other.

This restaurant is adorable and was so good! We had the eggplant parm and the vegetable pizza with gluten free crust. Both were incredible. Notably the gluten free crust was very impressive. Our server Nick was friendly and funny!
