Alcove knows something that many restaurants could learn, that you can serve people with food allergies and preferences without limiting access to a variety of dishes. So many dishes prepared gluten free and they have a dedicated gf fryer. I had the fried chicken sandwich which was incredible. Even my gluten eating friends enjoyed it. The beet and goat cheese salad is not to be missed! The polenta with flamin' hot Cheetos was a favorite at the table. The service was amazing and everyone was very friendly. Definitely will be returning!

Best gluten free Nutella banana bread muffin!! I loved it! Would come back just for that alone. I also ordered a Cortado and asked for a side of sparkling water to pair it. We discovered this place by a coincidence. It was a great coincidence! Fully vegan fully delicious. We took a quick lunch to go, the staff is extremely helpful with your order, friendly and skillful. Visited tonight to celebrate a friend’s birthday. I’m gluten free and it can be hard to find a really good gluten free bread— their bread basket was amazing! I also got to try two different pasta dishes, the classic Tagliatelle alla Bolognese and the Carrot Infused Pappardelle with Tuscan Rabbit Ragout (the actual pasta for gluten free was exchanged for a penne). They were such different dishes, and both were very well done, with great textures and flavors— the rabbit ragout may have been my favorite of the two. Also had a great drink- the Negroni Conte— the Earl Grey infused Campari was really lovely and complimentary. Would definitely recommend!

Another fantastic meal at Nolia - I had the chicken gizzards, carrots, cornbread skillet and the duck and they were all outstanding. Great cocktails too. The ambiance is also great - nolia has somehow managed to create a bustling atmosphere that you can still have a conversation in, which is really important as most restaurants are too noisy, imo. Good gluten free options as well!
