I made several trips for lunch, dinner and dessert while my father was in rehab. All the meals were good, desserts were great (highlights were lemon vinaigrette dressing and chocolate silk pie). Gluten-free and vegan options are fair. I bake gluten-free and vegan desserts and most people can’t tell a difference. Sweet Tooth’s are definitely lacking. Not a big deal. Common for a lot of restaurants. The big disappointment and shock came from a catering order for my Dad’s 90th birthday at rehab nearby. Since I’d had food there before, I just knew we were in for a treat with their catering…fooled me! Ordered turkey/provolone sliders, Black Forest ham and chutney sliders, chicken salad croissants and a medium charcuterie board.
We arrived for pick up and they didn’t have any knowledge of my charcuterie board. Didn’t get that.
Turkey provolone sliders were slim on the provolone, some saying they only had small triangles of cheese!
Black Forest ham with chutney sliders; the chutney was barely a whiff. Many guests said “what chutney? Didn’t taste anything”. When I called about the chutney they told me because it has such a strong flavor, they just use a tiny amount. Such a tiny amount, couldn’t detect it! Also, we were offered no condiments for our turkey/ provolone sliders, so we sent someone to the store last minute to buy some! I DO NOT recommend their catering at all!!! Incomplete order, no condiments, frugal with the cheese and chutney! Dad’s party was a joy but it certainly wasn’t because of the catering!
The old negative thing was that the music was quite loud. I feel that music should be quietly in the background, not in your face loud.
I don't know if this was due to my seating which was by a speaker.
Otherwise my experience was outstanding. My server, Darlene is my favorite and I always like ti ask for her if she's working when I come in.
The steak was cooked just like I like and it was delicious.
Ruby Tues. has the absolutely BEST cheese cake (I remove the crust due to gluten intolerance) anywhere!
The food is delicious, The employees are wonderful, they do not make one feel like they are interrupt ing them., Happy to serve you. Nothing like the other fast food places. Employee's are very tidy in their uniforms and well mannered. The food is hot when served at your table and soooooo good. I always order the chick-fil-a meal with well done fries, fries are cooked perfect!! A bonus Chick-fil-a has gluten free rolls.
Totally unexpected find of this wonderful restaurant! We enjoyed every aspect of our experience! We were with another couple who said we must try it! They loved it too! The Chicken and Waffles were amazing per our husbands. I'm gluten free and the Chef altered my order without sacrificing the dishes' uniqueness. LOVE! The wait staff was knowledgeable and fun! VERY nice experience!
Very attentive staff who make recommendations based on food allergies - gluten and dairy in our case. They also accommodate food intolerances by modifying preparation. The results are delicious! Nice variety of items on the menu too.
If you can't eat gluten, I would stick with the smoked chicken wings. They had a great flavor. It would have been even better if the options of nonbreaded options were more numerous, but definitely not a bad place for a bite with the family.
