Pleasant staff. The main featured “The beast” was not marked as being “out.” The staff said it had been out for a few weeks and yet no marking on the menu to indicate that. They were also out of the gluten free buns. So after ordering a pulled pork on gluten free bun, it was served on Texas toast. We had to take the bun off and we realized why they needed the Texas toast…only a 1/4 cup of pork: the plate was mainly coleslaw. Sad because we thought we were ordering house specialties and disappointed with the outcome, especially when we saw the corned beef sandwich and chicken wrap at the table next to us which were really nice servings. But I have to say the one bite of pulled pork I had and my dad’s two bites, was seriously spectacular! The homemade bbq sauce was sooooo good. Of course, not enough food. Hope it was a mistake that we each barely got a bite or two on the plate. So, I resorted to ordering chicken wings, which actually were delicious with garlic and Parmesan. Perfectly cooked. Imagine their homemade bbq sauce would be good on these as well. Know there aren’t the typical celery, carrots, and blue cheese dressing with them. But I would order them again. I hate writing anything negative because it seems to be such a nice family establishment with kind people. They were incredibly apologetic for the inconvenience. And they did take off the wings from the bill to make good on the missing items from the menu. So, I would say that I would come back. Just wish we could’ve had The Beast and hope it comes back, along with a gluten free bread option before we travel back down from Canada in a couple of weeks.

some of the best prices in town for the quality. amazing food, very good chai, the gyoza and omelette sandwiches were delightful. can’t believe this place isnt more popular!!
EDIT: I have been here countless times since my first review, and have recommended it to everyone in the Twin Cities who will listen lol. I can now also vouch for their consistent quality. I brought my vegan + gluten free friend there and there were options for them too. Try the tofu I am begging you.
