The staff at Vick's are so kind and cook excellent food! I have celiac so it is hard to eat out anywhere as a rule. The staff goes out of their way to make sure I don't get glutened when they make my hamburger. There are the 2 options of lettuce wrap and gluten free bun. I prefer the lettuce wrap as gluten free buns tend to get soggy quickly. Currently there is a shared fryer so the fries are not celiac safe. The milkshakes however are fantastic and I always get the root beer one, but I should really try some of their myriad of other great celiac safe flavors.

What an experience! This weekend at the Sultan Shindig, we had an amazing gluten free pizza, and got to meet the owners! They delivered it right to our booth, themselves! They were lovely. We gave them a jar of honey as a tip! I hear they have 2 other locations, and I don't know what those two look like, but the interior of the pizzeria was like stepping into an Orwellian Time Machine! Bits and bobs, diodes, and meters jutted out of the walls like the whole restaurant was a living machine on a pit stop to serve great pizza to our timeline. The pizza was one of the best gluten free pizza's I've had in the area. Thin. Crispy. And not gummy or grainy. The owner told us they didn't make that dough, they bought it, and I say good on them. I appreciate a hand made item, but too often people favor that over taste. This was perfect. Will return.

Gluten heaven! Try their sandwiches on homemade bread and you will thank me later. We always order the breakfast sandwich and a different kind of pastry each time. Makes for a great treat after a hike.
