Very cozy little place! I do however recommend if you are gluten free to get sweet pancakes as they taste like bananas? Not the best with bacon and eggs really...
I took both my 9 year old daughter and my 22 year old daughter, who both loved it equally. My youngest has celiac disease, and there were plenty of options for her to eat, and they looked through the allergen folder to double-check. The cafe it's self is upstairs but there is an accessible table downstairs. The cafe is decorated adorably with my melody and kuromi and there is a beautiful wall perfect for photos. The shop has so much merchandise my daughter actually became a little overwhelmed with what to buy! But she came away with 2 bags. As its quite small the downstairs area can fill up quickly. The staff were all lovely and friendly even complimenting the t shirt my daughter made for the occasion. We can't wait to come back next time we are in Brighton
I’m m gluten free so always struggle in new places. Opted for the fish platter and it was amazing- gluten free battered oysters arrived with the platter and was totally delicious!
Amazing meal, great house wine and very attentive xx
This is a very, extremely amazing pasta place . The options they have are very welcoming and friendly. The gluten-free option is very good, and there is enough of it. I would recommend going. The staff are very friendly and welcoming.
10/10 service and food. Embers Feast was a delight to behold, a hidden gem in Brighton’s vast sea of restaurants. Gluten Free options were to die for, and our server Evie was in a league of her own! Would recommend to your neighbors dog and loved ones
We had a great time at Planet India. From the first second we walked in, the service was warm and friendly and we felt right at home.
The food was tasty and reasonably priced and we loved that you can split the portions in two to try more things. Also loads of gluten free beers which was much appreciated.
Will definitely be back!
Banging burgers. Gluten free buns and chips and very attentive to allergies, checked all the ingredients with us. Would absolutely recommend if you have allergies or not
Came here with my friend to have a well deserved catch up over afternoon tea on 30/9 and LOVED it! The service was super friendly and we never felt rushed, even though we took an age to order and leave due to chatting! I am a coeliac, and was reassured from the moment I emailed to book the table. They are very aware of cross contamination with gluten and do a great job despite the small size! Wish other establishments would take note! I had a GF scone and it was warm and delicious with a beautiful pot of Assam tea. Loved the experience and will be back! Thank you!
I loved the food but I think they need to consider food intollerances more. I don't understand why gluten free bread wouldn't be offered for the burger option etc in this day and age. Customers with food intolerances should be offered the same dishes as others. Gluten free bread buns are widely available now and can help provide customers the same experience as those without dietary requirements. The food other than than was delicious.
