Went to the Spinners Arms yesterday lunch time 20/11/2024 for a family meal for four persons. It was great,very warm welcome,table service with a smile. Plenty of time given to look at the menu. I am gluten intolerant and it is really difficult to eat out unfortunately. Add in a friend who is lactose intolerant and our joint birthday lunch seems like an impossibility.
I have heard fantastic thinks about Woodchats but I haven't ventured there before myself. The decor is lovely and modern. Its clean and the staff were lovely and friendly. This is my first experience eating out since lockdown so of course I felt a little apprehensive. The lovely lady dealing with us made us immediately feel at ease, she discussed our dietary requirements and what things they could do for us - which was quite a bit. We both opted for basil humous and olives which did not disappoint! It was delicious. I also ordered some gluten free scones to take home. I have previously had these delivered and these are incredible! I also took home a few other items.
Woodchats also participate in the suspended coffee scheme which is brilliant. A nice easy way to give a kind gesture. Or a way for someone to get a coffee no questions asked when they need one.
All in all a fantastic place and I will be returning.
Highly recommended particularly to those with intolerances.
