Went here the other Saturday. Staff member that took my order was VERY clued up about Coeliac / Gluten free. & knew about cross contamination, which reassured me. Food was delicious and I would go back if in the area.

What a treat it was today. We went for a cheeky lunch (my Hubby and I) to the wonderful Green Man. We arrived at the pub at 15:40 and they were serving food, which was lovely. Good Start. We ordered a crispy Halloumi and chips meal and I had a great choice of meals. I’m gluten free and after asking, I was informed they could do a cod and chips with gluten free batter. IT WAS LOVELY, I can highly recommend. They have their gluten alternatives marked in green by the main meals. So many choices. The food arrived quickly even though they were busy and it was service with a smile. The gardens are beautiful, loads of flowers and so many butterflies, that kept landing on my shoulder. Someone has been very busy. We’ll certainly be back, thank you and we’ll done The Green Man

Would give more stars if I could. After messing up my order myself, Sandra was an absolute angel and redid my order. After a long 13 hour shift this was so much appreciated. The food is always so scrumptious and even my other half, who is gluten free, can enjoy a treat from Sandra's Corner.

Had a beautiful lunch here today. Our Waitress was really lovely she was very helpfully sorting things out with us,I am gluten free and my husband is Vegatarian so it was nice that she took the time to make sure are choices were correct for us, We couldn't have asked for any better sevice . Her name was Denika (Hope I've spelt it correctly. My apologies if I haven't. ) It's such a really nice name.

Conveniently located just off the A1, this was a great place for us to stop for dinner on a long journey. The food itself was good and what I would expect from a chain pub, but it was the service that really stood out. All the members of staff went out of their way to ensure we had a relaxing meal and were happy to accommodate my gluten intolerance. There is a separate gluten free menu available that makes meal selection easier. The kids menu was good value with some vegetarian options, which was welcome. Sadly we didn't get a chance to try the play area. If we are passing around dinner time again we will very likely call again.
