As four adults, 2 children (pre-teens) and a dog, eating together without booking, we were fitted in nicely and made very welcome despite how busy these guys were. Food was very nice and the gluten free options made my day/weekend! "Real" nourishing food not convenience meals and fairly priced too. The only thing stopping me from 5 stars is that it was quite cold in the dinning area. A minor gripe I know but everything else was spot on and I would definitely return for another meal if I'm in the area again.

We booked a table for a family meal, the staff were very welcoming and polite, we ordered from.the menu and although we all chose different meals one of which was gluten free, they all arrived very promptly and were cooked to.perfection.We stayed for a few drinks and a game of pool after we had eaten so thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, car parking wasn't a problem as there is a large carpark at the rear of the building. As an added bonus the pub is dog friendly so we will be able to.visit with our pets next time we are in the area, would recommend people pop in and check out the lovely old building, we will definitely be back for a visit and maybe book in for a weekend break in the rooms that are available.
