Great range of food. Vegan and Gluten-free menus available. Staff were very friendly. Nice atmosphere. Wasn't too busy when we're we there which was nice as it was for a birthday breakfast. Will definitely return soon.
Great food but I felt everything including drinks were over-priced. Appreciate it has a captive audience but charging what felt like London prices didn't feel right. On that basis unlikely to go back. Lots of options (not on the menu) for gluten free / coeliac diets.
Lovely place and fast and friendly service, the food was ok and simple but tasty, they had plenty vegan , vegetarian and non gluten (bread) options with the sandwiches offered and the coffee and Chai latte (vegan) were really good.
We were sitting outside under the tree and we had worms coming down from the top of the tree on the table, that was really upsetting and so unfortunately we left.
In terms of the food and service it's great but the tree needs to be professionally treated.
Ordered a gluten free cheese burger and fries, should have been an easy order. Expected burger to actually come inside the gluten free roll like any other burger rather than have roll just stuck to the side (not even sliced open). All in all an expensive and not the best experience.
We booked a table at the Wimborne Pig for our wedding anniversary and had an absolutely wonderful experience! We came with our 11-month old baby and the staff were absolutely brilliant and very helpful around her. The food was superb! The most delicious pork belly I've ever had- cooked to perfection, full of flavour and garnished with blueberry sauce. My husband had the beef burger and thoroughly enjoyed it. We both have allergies and I'm currently on a very restrictive gluten, dairy and egg free one. This wasn't an issue at all- the meal was adapted to cater for it. Overall a five star experience and a must try when in Wimborne!
We needed a spacious local pub with a good reputation to hold a wake. The Coach & Horses proved to be the perfect venue. We had a planning meeting a week beforehand where we decided on what food would be required (including some gluten free). We had anticipated up to 100 guests, but in the end there a few more than that. But the service and food were outstanding and I cannot thank the staff enough for being so friendly and efficient.
Absolutely amazing. Lovely food, such friendly helpful staff and a lovely atmosphere. Went Friday night with my parents for their anniversary and we just turned up without a booking and they got us a table. We didn't realise they do 2 dinner seatings. 6-8 and 8-10. Absolutely brilliant idea and means that you are not rushed at all. We turned up just before 7 so completely out of their normal schedule but they still sat us and looked after us wonderfully. We weren't rushed out even tho they did explain their normal schedule when we came in and we were prepared to be scooted out but no they worked around us. My brother is coeliac and as with most places they can't 100% guarantee no cross contamination in the kitchen as they do handle gluten in the kitchen but they were open and honest about this and the waiter was able to let us know what dishes were suitable and which weren't. Excellent knowledge of the menu and it's ingredients to the point he even let us know what part of the meal wasn't gluten free. First time experiencing Turkish coffee too and it was all explained to us. Staff were amazing. Food was amazing. Definitely going again even if it's for a takeaway and not a sit down dinner. More expensive than a greasy kebab but well worth it for the real deal and an all round wonderful experience
