This is one of those gems you should probably stop by earlier, rather than near closing. They definitely sell out of many of the selections. The donuts all look amazing and taste just as good. Bonus: a very good selection of gluten free (friendly?) donuts too, but they do go quick. Everything pairs nice with a very nice Stumptown brew of coffee. Let's not forget the staff. Super friendly and engaging. Most certainly going back!
Love this place. I always get their gluten free pizza. My wife and I always try to swing in here she loves the fried ravioli. This place combines killer food, atmosphere and staff.
You really would "want to experience" Italian food in order to appreciate this place.. All the fancy words n the menu are intimidating to most and discourages them from wanting to order. If you only knew, ITS JUST THE NAMES OF ALL THE DIFFERENT PASTAS they use and then the rest is in the description for you to anxiously pick because, at the prices these dishes are set at, you have no clue if you're going to like it... The complimentary bottomless warm bread and vinaigrette relieves the undo stress of FIRST TIME ORDERS! The orders are NOT your typical at home dinner plates. The platters are oversized and they come loaded as ordered... The lamb shank, zucchini n squash, Tuscan beans over gluten free noodles was worth it and ill definitely recommend it..
The designs on the plates and cups were really cute.
It was a healthy plate with colorful vegetables that looked great in photos.
The staff are very friendly and kind.
We also have many gluten-free and vegan menus, so you can have a breakfast that suits you. Thank you for the wonderful morning.
Had a wonderful experience, Sam was a fantastic server and spent a lot of time figuring out what I could eat with no gluten or dairy. Note that they are doing construction on the street so there's some noise sitting outside.
Cal Fresh has a great selection, especially if you want healthy alternatives or gluten free options to things. Their specialty drink section is top notch, and both the smoothie/coffee bar and the deli are high quality. The only problem is that everything is fairly expensive, maybe 15-20% more than other grocery stores.
We LOVE Gino’s. They’re easy to order on the app or over the phone. Their gluten free pizza is delicious and their antipasta salad is filling. We love this place!!
Love this place! The food, smoothies, and smoothie bowls are the best. Their lentil soups are outstanding! Their portions are perfect, it's really good and filling.
I love that I can order a smoothie that is so yummy and dairy and gluten-free.
Shin's has great Poke! Their fish is very fresh and they have a great selection of toppings. My Fiancé has celiacs and Steven who has helped us a couple of times is great about knowing which ingredients are safe for her to eat. He's always super friendly and the customer service is always great. Definitely give them a try!
The nicest server named Sherry looked after us. She was so knowledgeable about the menu and accommodating to the coeliac in our party. Sherry was kind and patient. The food was absolutely delicious and you just can't beat the view at sunset!
The food was good, but the portions were very small and it is comparatively expensive. The service was good. The atmosphere is normally wonderful. Banana foggy day maybe a little less so. They do have a gluten-free menu, which is why I went there. The person I was dining with is gluten free. I probably will not come back on my own.
Great service, fantastic fresh food, knowledgeable staff and inexpensive. Our server guided us through 7 courses, all gluten free and delicious. Tab was less than $80. Bonus!!
We got to the restaurant around 10 a.m. We waited for about 45 minutes after signing in with 8 groups ahead of us. They had a lot of seating for waiting patrons, which was nice. One of the benches was sticky, and people avoided sitting there, so I let a staff member know. It wasn't dealt with in the about 90 min we were there. Before we left, we let the waitress know, and she seemed to make note of it again.
We initially got water, but it tasted like mold or chemicals. I couldn't continue drinking it. The ice was ok. I wonder if they need to change filters.
I got the pismo pier omelet and added spinach and mushroom. Their home fries come with onions, are cooked nicely, and are not very crispy. The lobster and shrimp were cooked beautifully. And I was offered a gf pancake when I said I was gluten sensitive. She charged me an extra dollar to do that instead of toast.
The other person got the chicken fried steak and home fries with over-easy eggs. The gravy had sausage in it and was well seasoned. We both added something to our potatoes.
Very wine focused restaurant, food leans heavy: seafood, steak, lamb, porkchop; kebabs, burgers of various meats. Two in our party have celiac disease and we appreciated our server's understanding of cross contamination very much.
Cute little hole in the wall. Carnitas tacos were a highlight. Everything we got was delicious including the ceviche. So many gluten free options, our kids even loved it.
I see a lot of reviews complaining about the taste of the food, but we’ve never had any issues. Everything has been cooked and delicious. Even the little one LOVES their cheese pizza.
They have a gluten-free crust too if you’re into that sort of thing.
They have a lot of games but most are crane games and other bad prizes. Wish they had fewer of those and more arcade/skill type games, but those rigged games are what the kids love these days. You can blow through $20 in a flash.
Probably the BEST gluten free pizza I've ever had. My husband loved his regular pizza as well. Friendly service. Place is kind of small and cluttered, only a couple tables inside and a few outside tables. Delicious gelato as well. A must-go to when in Pismo
Gluten free peeps...THIS is the pizza you crave. Hands down the best GF crust in town. Great spot in downtown Pismo, a quick walk to the pier after...I promise you will be dreaming of this pizza. I usually have to get my own pizza because my family doesn't wish to partake in my cardboard options. Not here! We shared 2 kinds of GF pizza & everyone was happy & not missing the gluten. I'm not sure how they get the chew & crust just right but I'm happy for this witchcraft & will be back for more!
We came here on a Tuesday evening to celebrate a birthday. Aliya was an informative, attentive, professional server. The food was delicious! The chocolate torte is gluten free and amazing. Totally worth it, with the view of Pismo beach out on the patio with the heaters!
The lovely manager was a load of help recently. Our breakfast was delicious, and the precautions she took for my gluten free wife was short of Amazing. No cross contaminations whatsoever. Cleaned the cooking area with gloves on the entire time.
We'll be back!
Able to accommodate my wife's dietary restrictions (Beyond burger + gluten free bun).
We were both impressed by the burger. Fries were good too. Owners were friendly.
We loved this amazing find! They catered to my being gluten free. The chef came to visit us and they take great care on everything being fresh and locally sourced. Bradford and Eric were amazing. The cocktail superb and their suggestions for wine excellent. Loved every minute. Food outstanding.
Always an enjoyable experience here! Laid back, good food and wine, music. Charlie and his staff make you feel truly special.
The gluten free flatbread pizza is wonderful!
Super great experience here! Fantastic service, the food is great and they can accommodate for allergies. I can’t eat gluten and they were able to show me what on the menu is gluten free and cook is separately so I wouldn’t get cross contaminated. Hopefully they get some GF bread at some point because their sandwiches look great! They also have an extensive drink menu (many GF options). The outdoor patio is a really nice place to hang especially with dogs and they have a dog menu. They also have a fun kid area. I’ll definitely be coming back!
Went here for Gluten free offerings, spouse has celiacs. Our server was great but we did learn that items marked GF weren't necessarily so, i.e. beer breaded chicken. So ask questions. The food we got was amazing and fresh.
From a German perspective: An Asian snack bar in a shopping area. Prices are normal for American standards. Including the tip, we spent around $80 with four people.
The staff was friendly and helpful. Gluten intolerance would also be easily explained and taken into account.
The portions are quite large and, above all, delicious: sushi, soup, terriyaki bowl 😋
