I liked the food and the staff was very nice and friendly, they seemed like they did want to be there. The food was good, there were many gluten friendly options. I also liked the drink options and flavors. the mimosas say they’re puree but it seemed more
like a puree syrup.
Great location and views! The burger I had was delicious, though a bit pricey. My only complaint is that some menu items are marked gluten-free but aren’t actually safe for those with dietary restrictions. Be sure to double-check with the server.
So incredible we ate here two days in a row! Krysta was absolutely amazing and accomdating to our gluten free and vegetarian needs. The food was delicious! Fresh and flavorful, we enjoyed Mimosa flights, the acai bowl, Swami's breakfast combo, the vegetarian hash and several of their smoothies. Cool, relaxed and trendy location (we stayed nearby at the Beau). Krysta also gave us recommendations for great spots to visit during our stay and was right on with her recommendations.
When on vacation, it's not just the scenery and attractions that bring visitors back---it's the people you meet. Krysta is such a great representation of how wonderful San Diego is.
We are already planning our next trip back!
TLDR: views, vibes, services, QUALITY
This restaurant was extremely well thought out. As someone with a background in interior architecture, event design and hospitality, someone took great pleasure and spared no expense in creating this masterpiece of a dining experience. From the customized entry off the elevator to the most unique bathrooms, every moment was planned.
The harbor views are unbeatable! The hostess was very accommodating when I explained we were told we "needed to try to cocktails and see the view." We ended up coming here daily because of how amazing it was! They have authentic craft cocktails with signature options and they pour the waters out of a shell! What detail!
The portion sizes were surprisingly large considering I assumed I would be paying mostly for views and everything we ordered was delicious. The garlic bread focaccia was basically a loaf and I absolutely at the entire thing. They salads were well combined flavors and they even had a berries & creme dessert for my celiac friend!
10/10 highly recommended
Very many clearly marked vegan AND gluten free options. Love restaurants with overlap. Super tasty, fast, and reasonably priced. Excellent portion size with lots of veggies and tofu. Big fan.
Fast service, a little too fast. Food was great and had a ton of gluten free options - staff is also knowledgeable for celiac. The Coco Pina Margarita was delish, but way way too much ice and such a small glass.
Logan is one of the best informed Servers I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. He was highly attentive on every level. He gave us amazing history of the hotel, and our cocktail and wine selections. He was also extremely aware of allergies ( I have celiac disease so its very serious and stressful to eat out and I instantly felt at ease).
Valeria also took lovely care of as well. As always the food, and beverage are exceptional as is the atmosphere at the Grant Grill. I'm 36 and I've been coming here since I was in my teens the service and the food have never wavered.
We stumbled upon this place tonight and can’t stop talking about it! Our kids were starving so they cut a cheese pizza by the slice in half and brought it out immediately. We also ordered a large Hawaiian and a Gluten Free pepperoni - DELISH!
Really cool place, nice atmosphere. The staff is really friendly and efficient.
But the food is what does it! It really hits the spot, so much flavor and the fries are unbeatable!
I ordered the mini cheeseburger and a side of fries and I was happy with the portion.
They even make lettuce wraps for the gluten-free people. Definitely will be coming back.
