On our way back to Phoenix from San Diego, I looked on my map to find a good place for lunch before we left. Having a teenage boy who is very picky, I needed something to suit his limited palate. Enter pizza! Of course, I avoid gluten and sugar, so finding something for me was more challenging, but most places have salads. My son ordered the al pesto personal pizza, my husband got the BBQ chicken personal pizza, and I opted for the antipasto salad. All of them were top notch. Plenty of toppings across the board, homemade dough, sauces, and dressing. Service was quick, although we had to track down our waitress to pay and get a box, but there was a large party in the restaurant. It was also Wednesday lunch, so I'm guessing they don't get super busy then to warrant two wait staff. We were glad we stopped, and the family was satiated for our drive back to Phoenix.

These cookies are delicious. I buy them at a restaurant called GreensPlease, and they are fantastic. The added benefit of them being vegan and gluten-free makes the consumption of these guilt-free. I highly recommend trying these if you're looking for a great cookie. The snickerdoodle is great.
