An update after my visit: despite noting that I have an allergy and needed the gluten-free pancakes, I was served pancakes with gluten. Through sheer luck, I commented on a separate allergy-related issue, and a new staff member (not the one who took my order) got confused and asked "You do realize these have gluten, right?". They prepared a new, safe, order quickly, but it was concerning. I recommend that those with allergies place their order through a manager, and have the manager double-check with the kitchen that they read the order correctly.
I haven't even been here yet, but I already love them due to their commitment to safe gluten-free food for those with Celiac and other severe medical responses to gluten. I'll update this review after I eat there this weekend
My American Legion Post 510 gathers here for a meal prior to our monthly meetings. The staff is great and friendly. The menu has so many different items to choose from that I have a hard time deciding. They also have vegan and gluten-free items to choose.
Do not get the gluten free option pizza unless you like mush. Bleeehck. In the garbage for us. Campfire is normally out go to, but thought we'd try something different, but my son and I both hated it in this version. Tempted to request a refund....THAT BAD. Preparing an early dinner for us now. Lemon chicken for the win.
I will say that everything else we've had there was delicious 😋
Having a family that has dietary restrictions with dairy free and gluten free a spot like this is awesome. They had a few oat milk options and sorbet for us to pick from. Allowed samples and were super friendly. Only 1 of us could have the regular ice cream and after a few tastes selected a delicious ice cream. Staff was super friendly and pleasant. Store was awesome. Very convenient to food options so great spot for a nice desert.
My only complaint was the waffle cone tasted a bit stale.
We will definitely be back to enjoy some delicious ice cream or sorbet.
