Wouldn’t put a GF bagel through the celiac toaster because I’m only Gluten intolerant. I havent been diagnosed with Celiac because I’ve been GF for another disease. Owner didn’t care he said it was difficult to get the toaster out and took too long.

I got the Halloumi & Sunny-Side Breakfast Sandwich, an Iced Pistachio Latte, and a Raspberry Yogurt Meringue Cloud. The staff were friendly, the service was quick, and they were informed regarding gluten, asking if it was a preference or allergy for the sandwich. I LOVED the meringue cloud and coffee, and like my sandwich, though the egg and halloumi were not particularly seasoned. The gf bread though was quite good, as it wasn’t crumbly or filled with holes, and it was only slightly smaller than a typical slice of bread. Overall, I would 100% come back here, especially for the baked goods, coffee, and atmosphere!

Life Alive is a great place for healthy satisfying food in a calm atmosphere a short walk from Harvard Yard. The gluten free and vegan options are excellent. Portions are good. The food was very good, simple, perfectly cooked and seasoned and lots of it. I had an omelet that was cooked with a generous amount of vegetables and cheese and three tasty pieces of gluten free toast plus a large cappuccino. It was a great meal. The place is small, the wait staff are very kind and helpful, our food came quickly.
