Long line, but it moved quickly! They did a great job of safely scooping my ice cream, and they had gluten-free waffle cones - yum!
I had dark chocolate & turtle!
Great food, great service, and great atmosphere! I would recommend the smaller portion sizes unless you’d like two meals! Our server Rich gave great suggestions, was incredibly friendly, and attentive. When we arrived on a weeknight, the wait was about 20 minutes (no reservations). Handicap accessible, small parking lot out front, and options for dietary restrictions (gluten & dairy). Overall a great experience!
A nice spot in the heart of Canal Park. Patio seating and indoor seating, with sizable dining space.
They have a huge selection of delicious sandwiches and can accommodate for gluten free customers with gluten free bread and salads. The food is so amazingly good!
A deli is also available to take home their in house smoked fish.
They also have live music.
Amazing! Everything on the menu is gluten-free!!! We got tacos and a chicken bowl - DELICIOUS! I was so bummed to learn they were closed on Tuesdays because I wanted to order it one more time on our way out of town. I will be back!
Read some reviews and figured our family would give the restaurant a try.
Where to start...........The gluten free option for the burger came with plain, white, gluten free bread. Just a typical burger with lettuce, tomatoes, and onion...not a gluten free bun. I was expecting a bit more for a $22 burger. The kids burgers and grilled cheese were fine. All came with soggy, unflavored fries..they were not good.
The "market value" steak took forever to get to our table...everyone was about half way finished with their meal once my daughter got her steak....it was plated well but for 40 bucks, I would have expected a more timely served and better cut of meat. It looked like a $12 sirloin. Not even close to a ribeye cut.
The drinks were creative and were executed well...I cook a lot and have been to pretty much every restaurant in the Duluth area....this is NOT one I suggest.
I'm all about supporting local businesses and paying extra when it's deserved. I don't post reviews EVER, but paying close to $300, I expected so much more. I hope the restaurant turns it around. They definitely have potential too.
Service was good . I DO NOT recommend the $2.99 gluten free buns . Waste of money and disappointing . Completely crumble and I should have saved $2.99 and stuck to my bunless burger . I do have Celiacs , so advice to others be careful what you order . Just because it has the marking on the menu for “gluten free” read all ingredients because I had to have a ton of sauces removed from my burger to make it truly gluten free
We had no idea that Duluth had a high end quality Italian restaurant after years of coming up for the weekend.
Not only was the service quick and professional, but the food was outstanding.
Clean ingredients with strong distinct flavors. Additionally solid gluten free options!
Great atmosphere. Think old school quality Italian vs chinsey greasy family Italian.
I enjoyed having a breakfast spot in the canal area. For a Saturday the wait wasn't terrible; we were waiting for the patio and I'm assuming the reason for a few open tables (despite a wait) was due to understaffing issues. My husband was delighted to have gluten free toast as an option for his corn beef hash/over easy egg meal. My salmon hollandaise meal was cool when it came out. Tasted good, but wished it was a bit more fresh out the kitchen. A bit pricey. Our server was very attentive, friendly and checked up on us often. Dog friendly on the patio.
