The ambiance of a cozy & comfy lodge-style restaurant came to mind as soon as we stepped inside the restaurant. The menu offered a diverse variety of meat & potato options with a sprinkle of vegetarian mixed in. The available gluten free options from apps to main dishes is outstanding. From the rib-eye steak to the savory pot roast; nothing disappointed & no one left hungry. We couldn't even peek at the dessert menu. Although the cheesecake & cream brulee we saw pass by the table looked decadent.

This rustic tavern is cozy, the food is delicious and the staff is welcoming and knowledgeable. I'm gluten free, and our waitress was happy to answer questions and provide recommendations. Would highly recommend, and the drive is beautiful!

I got their pizza for a birthday celebration. My kids like to do the pizza rating game... One bite everybody knows the rules. So the consensus was the margherita pizza was 5/10. There was a great basil flavor (always a plus) but no red sauce (?) And it was oily. The meat lovers got a 6/10 because it was spicy which is a personal thing. If you love spicy you'll love this and rate it higher, I think. It was split amongst our group, some rated it higher. The classic pizza, it was agreed was the best. Everyone liked that one, rating it an 8.5. My gluten free kid loved the gluten free crust and was very happy with the gf pizza. Since gf is hard to get right, this was really close to a 10. Overall, the pizza was pretty good.

Great find in the country!!! 5 Star quality service and experience. The wait staff is dedicated to your meal experience ensuring you have an enjoyable meal. We are moving to the area and were looking at property when dinner time rolled around. My wife is Gluten Free, so finding restaurants in the country is always a challenge. We called and they were extremely knowledgeable of the allergy and had many options. Needless to say we were not disappointed. The flavors and meal combinations were so delicate to the palette I couldn't wait for the next bite.
